Blame the Schedule.

Who makes the schedule. I mean who actually sets the schedule.

Too many nostalgic games. And why the heck r we playing or played Georgetown and St. Johns on the road.

Battle for Atlantis, and the Big Ten ACC game, the rest should have been cupcake city. And maybe one of St. Johns, Georgetown, Villanova.

Our fix for Nostalgia caused this.

St John's is a cupcake.

So we should only play teams who are going to give a B/C effort. Even if thyre not good, which SJU is not.

St. Johns was gonna bring their best. And why we play them at Madison Square garden even more.

We beat St. Johns is we play them at the Carrier Dome.

Playing StJ in MSG is a win-win for everybody. We're not playing StJ anymore in the Dome. They would've beaten us in Timbuktu had both teams performed the same way. A better SU teams routs StJ in MSG. The Dome isn't a great home court advantage unless there are 25,000+ there, imo.

We will certainly play St. John's at home again.

I'm quite amused by hulls attempts to flip the narrative on MSG and how it's now a road game for Syracuse.

Yeah, let's not play any more games in the NY area.

Or DC for that matter.

I give up.

UCLA was in Maui. They lost to Kansas and Wake Forest. They have since beaten Kentucky and Gonzaga in Spokane. They also play UNC soon. I don't want to hear anything about schedule and travel.

St Johns was gonna be up especially playing at MSG.

The Schedule post Atlantis should have been ACC/Big Ten game Thursday or if possible Friday. Then cup cakes until right before ACC play before play Georgetown/or St. Johns. Good test before Conference play.

BTW, We beat ST. Johns if we play them at the Carrier Dome.

St Johns is not a good team. BFD they were going to be "up" for our game. You don't think Montana State or Texas Southern is going to be "up" to play us? And you do realize that MSG is supposed to be our second home court right? Playing SJU there is hardly a road game.

If were couldn't get motivated to play these teams then that's on Hopkins. Or the players.

To play the games in Atlantis, then few days latter let alone fact of leaving Atlantis the destination itself. To play Wisconsin at home, then couple days later play at Georgetown then week later at St. Johns in that stretch of time. The team is prob exhausted mentally and physically already.

especially the young players.

You do know that SU has no control over the ACC/Big Ten Challenge schedule.

Maybe next year Swofford and Delaney should check with you first.

Considering our not deserved rep this was challenging for a team that features so much youth - then take away their coach 48 hours before a road game tip off.

So having games eight days apart is too much to ask.

OK.

We shouldn't be scared to schedule anyone, St Johns is a bad team, they lost to Fordham, beat Rutgers by 2, and beat Chaminade by 7. I love playing St Johns in the Garden.

Our last game in Atlantis was Friday afternoon, the Wisconsin game was Wed night, no excuses. Wisc played in Oklahoma on Sunday, we should not have lost to them at home, that's on us, not the schedule makers.

Battle for Atlantis. Then Home for Wisconsin, and games against old Big East rivals Georgetown and St. Johns both on the road.

We should have had cupcakes up till finals week.

This Team is not as good as they played in Atlantis, but not as bad as they have looked the last 4 games.

Keep the faith.
They beat UConn and Texas A&M with a barrage of 3's and a whole bunch of missed gimmes inside for them. Wiscy GTown and SJ their big guys ate our up and made their shots. and we came back to earth on 3s . Makes sense to me. Team our size that do well, Final Four, Elite 8 well, are not seen often.

Mantonio, we lost to SJU at the Dome last year you do realize?
