I just wanted to say that BMK really impressed me the past few games... Rak as well, but BMK more so...

He lost his stone hands and I really think he's one one the fastest/hustling BIGS we've had in a long time.

He' never going to score 18 a game, but his defensive effort and speed has been great. The guy gets back on D faster than any Big we've ever had - a he runs like a Senegalese gazelle... Still gets coaxed into the air a bit too much on shot fakes, but his play has really been night and day since mid-season.

I had little in the way of expectations for him going into the tournament and was pleasantly surprised and encouraged by his performance and the Rakeita tandem.

With DJC coming in and possible Noel addition next year, we could have the deepest group of quality BIGS ever for a cuse squad...

Completely agree. Him and Rak are gamers too. Didn't back down from the challenge in the tournament. Great to see, especially after seeing little of that from KJo over the past 2 years. We need guys that aren't afraid of a challenge.

BMK belongs at the 4 which is what his coach at oakhill said when he came here but we haven't had the depth to play him there. His junior year he played minutes alongside tiny gallon in the zone and was at the 4 and helped cover up the fact gallon couldn't play defense.

BMK could play a wing-forward position in the zone, if that is what you mean by the 4. But he is so limited on offense that you have to wonder what he could offer at forward. Would like to see him develop a jump hook.

Have to give him credit for his effort in Boston. Just needs some more weight -- and I can imagine he has been trying since his Oak Hill days.

We would have a lot more flexibility using our Bigs if we played man to man. I know it's not going to happen, but we could play several different combinations of BMK, Christmas, Coleman and Noel. We have fewer combinations in the zone.

BMK and a redshirt intrigues me... He may be a great 5th year player... If we get NN we could make that happen...

Joyce made a great point about him; he played better once the players/coaches/fans showed more confidence in him

Interesting idea to play him at he 4 on D.

He could have a nice combo going with DC2. DC2 plays the 5 on D, and 4 on O, while BMK plays the opposite.

That kid was truly a pleasure to watch during the tourney. All year I kept questioning where the Keita from last year was, and then

not only did the old BMK return, but this one wasn't fumbling the ball at all. I was happy for him, and very happy to see a couple of our players (Rak as well) really step up when we needed them most.
