Boeheim says "tremendous changes" this offseason.

Word is that JB offered a coaching staff position to a man-to-man specialist who lives in Florida. He's just waiting for Florida to get internet access to see if the stud will accept the position or not.

Why are people thinking Cooney will not be back? Ban?:vomit:

That is a little unsettling. Seems like more than just one guy transferring to qualify as "tremendous." Then again tremendous is a coach word that usually means "marginally notable" so I guess we'll see.

Then again, Boeheim is the master of hyperbole. Everything's the "best ever," the "worst ever," "never in my career have I..." in these press conference situations. Full Rebar is probably right that there's no reason to expect the unexpected.

I'm with Full Rebar. I think he's just referring to the fact that we are bringing in 5 guys plus we will likely have DCII and CMAC available again and Rak gone. That is tremendous change. He didn't say tremendous unanticipated change.
Yeah, he sorta did. He said he had no idea what the roster would look like.

My theory is that his statements were a roundabout way of encouraging a transfer or two without having to have a direct conversation.

I see a transfer or two and an early entry or two.

Hopefully, 'tremendous change' doesn't imply any resulting changes because of further punishment. I also assume that doesn't mean 'retirement'. JB would never go out like this. Willingly.

an early entry or 2?

G would be an "early entry" the same way Devo and PH were "early entries"

There is no option for a 2nd "early entry"
