Boeheim's Army vs Herd That Gameday...

We definitely coulda used Ty.

I’ve always thought he was a poor man’s Kobe,
but the problem with that is, it’s not the 90’s anymore.

He does seem to have added range to his 3’s, several were a few feet behind the line.

I wonder what it is that just isn’t translating to him being an NBA player?

He’s tall, a plus athlete, solid defender, good handles, and can get his shot in numerous ways.
And a very smart & high character young man.

The outside shooting isn't great in this tournament for the most part any time someone goes off like the bald guy you typically aren't winning. Had a chance to bust that game wide open end of the 1Q and didn't do it.

The Herd Boeheim game was brutal. The zebras were non-existent. Never seen so much pushing and shoving
Herd played great defense. Lots of switching. Doubled Ritter quite often which was very effective.
On offense they pushed the ball with aggressive passing. By contrast whoever got a Boeheim rebound dribbled it upcourt. We failed to double Elmore.
When we tried to catch up we played one on one hero ball.
We were undisciplined and lacking in defensive strategy.
