I was at the game. A lot of nostalgia for Buddy buckets. The shots that he made were unbelievable! I knew Eli was doing well, but had no idea that he scored as many points as he did because I was so infatuated with Buddy. A guy behind me from Vermont gave me three free tickets for Monday’s game. I could’ve gotten Wednesdays game as well but I will be out of town.

When we got to the parking lot it was overwhelming to see all the people that were there. Orange fans are very hungry!

Looking forward to Monday night’s game. :)

That was great. Expected to see Coach Jack as her son was playing, but also good to see Fran Brown supporting the squad. I couldn't tell if the current team was there, but at one point it looked like a bunch of basketball looking guys were sitting behind the bench, but it didn't look like they were there in the 2nd half. Jon Bol Ajak was definitely sitting there.

Current team was there. JJ signing and taking pictures with every little kid in the arena

Wow this team is damn good. And more surprising - may I say Allen griffin can coach his ass off???
Offense was great and a big improvement from recent teams.

Rebounding was only OK, defense was poor, lots of forced and unnecessary passes.

Hopefully a lot of the lazy play was just conserving energy in a game they knew they were going to win, and not a sign of lack of discipline.

Watched Storrs. The Indian team they played was good and disciplined, but tiny. Played a 6’6” center and 6’4 forward with 3 guards most of the game. If they had any competent big men at all, they would’ve beat Yukon. Yukon has a big kid from Clemson that just wore them down. But they did not look good at all. Out of shape with few shooters.

Feel good about our chances vs them

I like our chances better too this year as perimeter D in this event is meh, and we can shoot it. Guards look good enough. Bigs is a concern as they always seem to be for us in this event. Eli can ball.

I wasn’t able to watch it yesterday, so I just got to watch the game this morning. And what a Sunday morning treat that was… let’s go Orange! Guard play is huge in this tourney. Our PG play and shooting was lights out.

I echo Elijah’s sentiments…

I was at the game last night and will be there the next 2 as well.
It was so bizarre being so close to the action, at the Dome I am always in the third tier.
Somehow the court seemed a lot smaller and you could hear everything on the court.
Team looks really talented.

Was going to mention that Storrs looked like a really good men’s rec league team with requisite beer bellies. Was interested in seeing Whitehead but he looked like he was pushing 300 lbs!
