Boeheim's Army vs We Are D3 Gameday...

I recognize I'm helping make it a self fulfilling prophecy, but years of massively sub par product on the court leads to "overreactions" about something dumb as a TBT game. Things are really close to boiling over in a very bad way.
I gave you a like for the first part, but am baffled by the second part.

I don't know what people are getting so worked up over. We're still all going to die someday.

One of the wort tbt for b army and three of the worse four years for su basketball in the last twenty five years have one thing in common

I'm just referring to the state of the program as it pertains to fans. If this year is as bad as last year it's going to be an ugly situation for everyone.

I think we overrate our talent both with the real team and TBT.
Both teams lack guys who will grind and do the hard work. Easier to jack threes and not defend.
This.
Here’s what Nichols said after our “dominant” first game:

“We watched their (first) game,Nichols said, referring to Boeheim’s Army’s breezy first round win over Herkimer Originals on Saturday. “They kinda looked a little lackadaisical.
With very few exceptions Cuse is soft.

"ugly"? How so?

People just won't go to the games and will be asking for Autry to be fired. It happens in sports every year/every day. In fact, it's the norm in sports. We just got spoiled by having JB for so long

Yeah apathy has already set in and it would just continue, but also unfortunately hoops could get caught in its own longer cycle of irrelevance like football did if they aren’t careful. I don’t think it gets that bad but if an offseason like this year results in very little progress it’s going to be a rough transition to sell everyone on another coach and new vision.

I know Syracuse struck gold with Coach Fran, but it has to be part of the blueprint. Basketball is supposed to be easier to turnaround than football, so go out and hire someone who is going to energize the program.

The four games in Vegas could be make it or break it, but it shouldn't be. It's a long season, and we have a lot of new pieces. Especially if JJ is not going to be the #1 option on offense.

Boeheim snubbed the handshake line apparently. Rejniak can be a try hard sometimes so idk. If true not the best look.

There’s no link. Elijah Hughes playing terrible, Rakeem Christmas being washed, and Jimmy Boeheim being slow has nothing to do with the current team. It would be like getting angry at a current baseball team because old timers played bad on old timers day.

I would get mad at the current Yankees simply because the Old-Timers played better.

Nichols is right. I posted after the first Game that offense was good and everything else was mediocre or poor, including rebounding and effort.

Everything I was concerned about, was exposed.

Offensive rebounding, was worse than terrible, it was non existent. Defensive rebounding was just plain terrible.

Shot selection, terrible, our bigs jacking threes with nobody under the basket early in the clock.

Effort, terrible. Nobody going for loose balls, D3 wanted it more.

Coaching, horrible. McCullough and Hughes on the bench most of the second half? What?

Three guys played with passion, Buddy, Jimmy and Gilyard. Everyone else there either wasn’t good enough or did not try hard.

If you don’t plan on giving 100%, don’t bother playing. That performance was a joke.

But we also saw with, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, etc., that the less talented teams that want it more and play real basketball will beat a bunch of lazy guys who mail it in.

So, I got a little tip that we may be seeing an article clarifying things on Monday.
