Boise State athletic department has a 14-person fan advisory committee

Great, lets put 14 people that buy a 3 pack of tickets a year each on the COMMITTEE, that will increase attendance a ton. Wow, terrible idea.

The die-hards are more equipped to get fans here than anyone as they see the microscopic problems that need to be fixed. They see the warts that need to be smoothed out and how the university can get the walk up and average fan here because they have been there.

We are talking about who to put on the committee to help increase fan experience.

The die hards want football. The casual fans what entertainment. They have different POVs as to why to come to a game. Getting only the opinion of the people who are coming will not help get the people who are not coming to games. I hate music, I hate promotions, I hate things that have nothing to do with football. I want stats. I want scores. But you know what? The casual fan wants all those other things. They want bells and whistles. That is wy you need to find out what they want.

So lets entrust our fan experience to people who attend one game a year??

They have no idea what is wrong by attending so infrequently.

I said put one person from that market segment on the committee. They have the BIGGEST idea as to why people do not go more often because they do not go. How the does a STH know why Joe Blow isn't going?

A person who doesn't go to the games will take the time to attend committee meetings to talk about the games they miss?

We need a committee to establish the committee.

Sure. People love giving their opinion and feeling important. Being on the committee would be a status symbol. Also people love free things. CNYers especially love T shirts. Easy incentive.

No. They want to pay a fair price, get there easily, and cheer on an exciting winning Syracuse team. Bells and whistles are overrated. Winning makes it must see and gets casual fans more than what we play on the loudspeaker.

Of course. You and 49 others.
