Yeah my main issue with that Dwan shot was he was going over half field already, which is the goal! No need to force the shot unless you are out of other options

BU is a good team that was 11-5 last season and they have a good 10 man. I thought Syracuse played pretty decently for the 1st game of the season.

yea the drop off from mullin to angelo is insane. Mean think that they go against each other in practice a lot would least improve or mullin rub off on him a little bit. But he gets beat clean no shot. Really need a solid backup faceoff guy. Don’t have to be above 50% per se but as to be least just under it. That would least be suitable. Can’t ware mullin down by taking every draw he possibly can. Need to throw another guy who can mix it up least.

Theres only 3 fogos on the roster and the third guy Olenik is a true fresh late summer addition. That said Angelo has not looked great be it in some limited draws last year and now today. Gonna have to either hope Olenik can provide some depth or that Mullen stays healthy.

Obviously hard to know where we're at after that game. It was a slow, sloppy start. I think they got an earful at halftime because the sense of urgency to start the 3rd was a lot higher. For all the talk about the offense, the defense looked really good against what I think will end up being a really dangerous BU on the offensive side of the ball. The clear needs a lot of work, but it's probably beneficial to get work against a good 10 man ride right at the jump. The offense needs to clean up the mistakes and move the ball better. The chemistry isn't there yet. Maryland looms and we can't sleep on St. Joes next week. All in all, we got a decisive win after a sloppy start. I'll take it, but it leaves me feeling like some of the issues that bounced us hard out of the final 4 still remain.
