Frank's stats weren't that pretty tonight but Tyus were and there's an obvious connection.

Frank is the difference with those 2 losses. Tyus was playing out of position even with Carey on the floor. Frank is the cog that makes the machine run on all cylinders. He’s the glue guy, and the experience he has with Tyus cannot be overstated. Carey is talented, but Tyus needed Frank back.

Forget his stats, he has smoothed the tempo of the game to the point that even when Carey came in they didn't resort to throwing up threes or just going one on one.

He is going to have a great year when he gets closer to 100%. Thankfully, that should be about the start of the conference schedule.

agreed, lets hope that this win is us turning the corner, we didn't play our best game and still overcame a lot to get the W.

PGs have to attack though. We had a lot of launches off of zero movement. A couple off of half-drives and a pass. This pounding the rock stuff, passing around the perimeter, playing east-west, needs to change fast.

Someone at our game watch tonight said that they were playing like a team. They were right. Frank brings cohesiveness to the floor. He makes it all work, even if it is not working the best for him.

Definitely a monster win. Really happy to see it. Team still has a ton of potential in the tank and it is surprising that we’ve had such struggles with a veteran team. But the needle is pointing up after tonight.
