Bowl projections

CNYers will feel like they never left home if it is as "right cool" in Annapolis as when UVa played there in 2017.
UVa got destroyed by Navy on the field and the UVa fans were destroyed by the low 20s temperatures. Frozen Hoos are not happy Hoos.

Can we count a W vs BYE College as one FCS win? Asking for a friend.

It will be interesting to see where Penn State lands this year, they still have two top 10 teams left to play. Their SOS this year was crazy. They might be a tough draw, that’s a good team. It would be awesome to beat them though.

okay this could get me hyped to go to a cold weather bowl

Did you ever wonder what the inside of a snow globe looks like?

As someone who is relatively new to being a Syracuse fan, all I can say is this.

I’m starved for a rivalry for football. A team that I can say that I truly hate (I can’t even say that I hate BC). I know it’s not an every year thing, but I think that a game between these programs would be great for US more so than them. Renew the rivalry for another generation of fans.

The gears are turning.

I went to the last two Pinstripe Bowls and stayed across the river in Fort Lee, NJ. Easier to get to from Syracuse, obviously, but was a bit of pain to get to and from the stadium. We hired a car for the second one at pretty high price. (no one wants to drive due to the day spent at Billy's bar and the victory party afterward!)

Anyone have suggestions for a place in the city based on their prior experience? Would want to take the subway to the Stadium.

Personally, whenever I’m in the city I like to stay in Long Island City.

If you want to make it the easiest subway ride you want to stay at hotel on or near one of the green lines on the subway map. That line runs right to Yankee Stadium. You might have to switch trains, but it would all be within the same station. Just depends on if the stop you stay by is a 4,5 or 6 train.

I would avoid staying in Brooklyn unless you want a really long subway ride. I’m talking like an hour plus.

I wouldn’t book anything yet for the pinstripe bowl until we get an idea of where are heading…unless of course it’s fully refundable. But right now there is way too much mystery as to where things are going to shake out

College Football Madness updated their projections and kept us in Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa once again. BC improving to 5-4 drops our chances for Fenway Bowl. Imo the Military Bowl in Annapolis is our most likely destination but it’s wide open.

Jackass Jerry still has no bowl for Syracuse

Looks like he has us losing all 3 since he has Louisville in. BC in the Sun Bowl though? That's a bit odd when he has Louisville going to Fenway. I would flip that.

I dunno. The city of Boston gets half the hotel revenue and everything else if bc is there. Can’t imagine that’s too attractive.

I can't imagine Louisville is going to send many to Boston in December though. Especially given the season they're having.
