I don't know why, our STs with Ligashevsky weren't much to write home about last year eitherWhy leave? Could it be he thinks there are better kicking coaches out there?
I understand Cuse wanted to keep Coach Ligs last year, but we were either late to the plate or Minnesota offered more $$.
If the SMU guy could have done it, they probably would have won the ACCNo bad feelings for Brady but….. Guys who can kick it in the endzone are a dime a dozen if you actually watch college football. Even most FCS KO guys are doing it .
Kid had a booming leg and was great at KO’s, but couldn’t kick it between the uprights. It’s good if we can free up another scholarship.
With 85 scholarships available, no.Would he, as a kickoff specialist, get another scholarship?
Forgot about the 105, good point and I agree. With 85 scholarships available, no.
With 105, probably yes. If it was up to me, I would spend a scholarship on a kid who can consistently boom it into the end zone.
So what changed in the last 25 years? When I was a kid watching CFB a guy like Pat O’Neil was a rarity. Are they all on ‘roids now?No bad feelings for Brady but….. Guys who can kick it in the endzone are a dime a dozen if you actually watch college football. Even most FCS KO guys are doing it .
Weight training specific to the job at hand. And specialty camps. So what changed in the last 25 years? When I was a kid watching CFB a guy like Pat O’Neil was a rarity. Are they all on ‘roids now?

Kickers and punters didn't usually work out back in the day. They just kicked.
Didn't we have one of "happier" remove his shirt at the UNLV game??” Shut him up for a bit until he was thrown out in the second quarter for being really drunk and oddly removing his shirt
That guy's training regimen was beer and GHB
Wow that’s a huge surpriseCommitted to Minnesota today.
Why. Ligashesky is there right?Wow that’s a huge surprise
Denaburg - one of the strongest legs ever. If he spends the off season working on his accuracy, he could be really valuable.
I believe that was sarcasm from GoSU96Why. Ligashesky is there right?
He was unreliable under Ligashevsky too. Maybe he and Lig believe Lig can fix him. After Jayden Oh floundered, we didn’t even go back to Brady, we went with the prez the rest of the way.Why. Ligashesky is there right?
was his prior plan "play for the worst ST coach under the sun" ?
