Does the staff have any connection, or did I waste time by even creating this thread???

That would be a real shocker. Miller has NFL aspirations. SU had one of the worst offenses in the country last season.

I have seen Duke and FSU mentioned, along with most every school in the top 25...

That would be a belated Christmas present!

That's only true because Hunt was thrown out part way through one game and we had injuries vs. teams who also had injuries. Otherwise our offense was fine. We have a lot of playmakers who've never consistently made plays and next year we should be better.

I have heard Texas, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Florida as the most likely non-NFL destinations.

I think we would pursue but with those big time fish involved we wouldn't be a likely destination. Florida State would suck because if he went there they would solve their 2015 QB issue.

Good for Duke. Cutcliffe is a class coach and is really turning Duke into the Stanford of the ACC. Duke needs more athletes but having Miller would be able to have the team rely on its offense again and outscore teams.

SU better be putting a call in to him. Maybe he wants to work in TV someday and the Newhouse angle would be enough to get him to consider. Look what Murphy did for BC and he's not on Miller's level.

My wife [an avid OSU fan who actively posts on their version of this board] says that the skuttlebutt also includes Oregon as a potential destination.

That seems like a great fit.

Amazing how far Duke has come. I guess they give me hope.

Can't play that card. You need a graduate school program that your original school does not offer, and Ohio State has a graduate J school.

Little OT but BC without Murphy and their whole O line should take a step back next year

Exactly.

On a similar note, has anything happened with the UAB kids for anyone? That's a program that really should get picked clean.

I heard that UABs stud RB(has two years left) is deciding between Vandy and Indiana. Indiana already grabbed a UAB WR transfer, Hawkins, who is a good player. the QB, Clements, transferred to South Alabama.

Meanwhile...somewhere in the football wing of Manley, the phones are silent. :(

I don't know about that. BC was supposed to take a step back this year after losing their Heisman trophy contender Andre Williams, their stud qb, and top wr. Plus there were defensive losses, and the topper is they played with I believe it was 65 scholarship players. I will admit when I am wrong, and I was totally wrong on Steve Addazio. The man can coach. That was a bad team before he got there. Did you see their bowl game? Those kids were 110% invested in that team. You don't always see players crying when they lose. Just shows you how much he has everyone inside the program caring. Unless Addazio is going somewhere, I don't think BC will be.

bc will take a step back because of there line last year being all 5th yr seniors

I'm not doubting Addazio. It's amazing they didn't take a step back this year. Remember Murphy from Florida? It's not like when he went to BC everyone was saying oh wow look at this stud BC got. It was more like who cares he was awful at UF.
