I don’t know, wirh our Swiss cheese D and and with the opposite team on a mission, our game never really felt like it was over. Zero issue playing whom we did til the end

AND - when we finally did go up 4 scores vs Wazzu, Fran called TO and got all the backups into the game on D.

Who of course then gave up that BS late TD, that freaked all of the degenerate gamblers out.

He only had Kyle in for the last series to take the snap for the victory formation, and Kyle then flipped the ball to the kid behind him, who then did his best Shrader imitation by doing (most of) a backflip.

tl/dr - we weren’t fully in control of that game until our last score.
Hence, why Fran left all of the starters in up until that point.

Lane is one of the funniest coaches on social media and is pretty self aware so I'm a bit surprised by some of the takes on here. Some of you just love to hate.

Ole Miss didn't deserve to make the playoff, but I don't think instilling a sense of playing hard the whole game into your guys is a bad thing. Wonder if there's any crossover from the Cam Ward hate in here...

Unless you're referring to the Alshon Jeffrey comments, I completely disagree. He went to a job that he deemed better and the students and fans rioted. His choice didn't warrant that reaction.

No Im referring to his behavior in Knoxville and a lot of the crap that was covered up that only some high level boosters knew about.

While true even when he was there prior to leaving I heard some stories, let me put it this way folks had concerns even then and were very nervous about his behavior while there. Do folks have an axe to grind? Yes but there was good reason for concern and some were very happy he left because significant damage could have been done.
