Dumb question, but I assume the resale people could just be putting it out there to see if they get a good bite, but if not can still use their ticket and go to the game?

I’m a big fan 8th time for me , never disappoint.
I was just out of the Army back then and actually begged them for a job that night. Can’t remember who it was but they said they hadn’t had a hit record in years and couldn’t afford to be hiring people. I was pretty sloshed that evening.

I completely understand the covid protocols (not trying to be politicall blah blah) , but it’s insane to me that they can’t offer onsite rapid testing. Finding a place for me to get tested before the game is going to be a complete nightmare. That has a huge factor in attendance. Also the fact it’s a nightmare to bring your kids , the people that don’t wanna get covid won’t go anyways and now those that would go don’t feel like dealing with the hassle vs just watching from home
The Nets were including on-site testing when the season started back up for them and it added $75 to the ticket cost. Very very unlikely that fans would pay for that.

If you are vaccinated you don't need to test

The kid issue is legit...and frankly stupid. Let them come on in.
What about the kid issue is stupid? If I was a parent I wouldn't be bringing an unvaxxed child to an event where there are unvaxxed (and likely drunk) adults not wearing masks.

And I've heard a lot of this from clients I'm working with.

Just a related note, vaccine checks are starting at 10. Dcuse and I are getting there at 10 (quad) to get wrist band so we don’t run into log jam near kickoff . I would recommend others do the same at least until we see how smooth things go.

Welp that would explain that haha, I’m gonna figure it out either way. I want to see the new dome so badly

What were the fair rules this year? Did they require proof of vax and negative tests as well as masking outdoors? A 'yes' to any of the questions would have a huge negative impact on attendance imo.
I think it was just masks when indoors.

Parents can decide the risk for their kids not some local bureaucrat. They can take them to the top row and stay 6' away from others...if they like.

Wow drunk unvaxxed people will be in the Dome? But those drunk unvaxxed need to take a Covid test and be negative to enter the Dome. So there is very little risk. Stupid, emotional point by you.

Your clients know better than you about their children.

I wouldn't take my grandson to the game but he is high risk. If he was a kid with no know issues I would not have a problem.

Hmmm... aren't parents deciding whether to bring their kids?

An unvaccinated person can catch Covid today, get a negative test Thursday, and be in the Dome spreading Covid on Saturday. Not a stupid, emotional point at all.

And since the unvaxxed are usually the ones complaining the most about wearing masks, it's a genuine concern to anyone that has young children when that drunk fan is sharing a bathroom with them while their mask is around their chin.

these fans are always in show me mode...they'll never come unless Cuse becomes Alabama. Just forget it at this point.

Not true. We had one good season in two decades and the season ticket sales dramatically increased. Our Orangemen subsequently laid a huge Duce against Maryland in the 2nd game of the season and the rest is history. If the team could just be decent more times than not with an occasional good season the attendance would bounce back.

yeah...but does a parent want to go through the expense and time suck of getting covid testing? The covid test requirement essentially will cut down kids under 12 by 90% at the Dome. Kids are super low risk of getting seriously sick from Covid.

If they have to take the covid test where they stick that metal Q tip up into your sinuses...that is cruel for kids who aren't exhibiting any symptoms. I wouldn't put that through for my kids to attend a game.
