There is nothing I can do about the state of the team (injuries) and the program, but I can stir some crap about the uniforms. The more I look at this the more infuriated I get.

Nike designed uniforms for Illinois and even a couple of high schools that feature orange and look great. I don't know what idiot decided to exclude orange as the main color in our uniforms, but they didn't do it at other schools.

I set up this site and petition to bringbackorange.com.

I remember the sarcastic cracks I got from a number of people when our uniforms first came out after joining the ACC and the lack of Orange. I wondered then if Clemson , Va, Miami etc thus the ACC admin had made some ridiculous demands. I was told that I was being paranoid and that the thought was laughable - I still can't figure out a reason otherwise, it just doesn't make any sense at all.

It seems common sense to have orange jersey and pants to be used in various combinations (not all orange). If they did that in the beginning there would be little fuss.

Each signature generates a copy of the petition to the Chancellor. We'll see how it goes and at some point will email a final one with signatures to TGD and the Chancellor.

You may not like the all Orange look but we wore them in 2004 during Coach P's final home game and beat Larry Fitzgerald led Pittsburgh team in 2 OT. So don't say we never won in a big game with Orange tops. The Orange tops from the Coach P were fine it was just a bad look with orange pants which is all we used to wear.
If we had Orange tops with blue/white/grey pants they would be fine.

I think there are many examples of good-looking orange jerseys out there.

UVA, Illinois, Clemson, Bowling Green, Campbell and Florida to name a few.

Crusty if your movement gets Orange back as the primary color you should be commended. That link is great so basically it was till 1977 where blue became the primary home color jersey. I wish we made orange tops our primary color and have blue as an alternate top.
