He is waiting to see who the new coach is. He said that Cuse and Illinois, the other two schools he was looking at the most, have both already contacted him. here's hoping we can get him to reconsider. He already visited campus and was impressed. Just not enough at the time to beat Vandy.

that was good to see. knew the staff would be all over that. hopefully we can at least get him on an OV and try to strengthen our position. I love how he said he seriously considered us. Didn't he visit a ton of schools?

On paper as recruits - yes. Ward was an early Michigan commit and Brosnan was pretty heavily recruited as well and a SEC commit. Hickey and Pugh were PA kids without PSU or Pitt offers. Pugh was Big 33 and Hickey had offers from IL and BC but neither were recruited like Ward and Brosnan have been.

After they graduate? That's another story - it would be tough to match a 1st round pick and likely 2nd/3rd rounder.

As far as I can figure from what is being said on the internet is that they can take 15 this year but they had open schollies available from last year for 5 early enrollees. That's 20 so they are now two over the limit...someone has to have his offer pulled.

Experiencing A-hole's appearance last year to fan cheering in Yankee Stadium, nothing surprises me ,even PennState's ability to shake off the entire Sandusky Paterno episode and continue bringing in kids who don't mind being associated with that school's name. The state university of PA will flourish the same as before regardless of the history.

I'm not sure Scowt is right but they show a non Vandyflip visitor coming for an OV. There was one tweet I saw said that they could take 23-24 total. What is the duration period for unused scholarships? PSU took 16 in 2011, 19 in 2012 and 17 in 2013. There must be some mathematical manipulation going on if they don't start pulling offers.
