Brosnan

Since they evidently have schollies available from last year and can take 20 for 2014 it looks like they can take 23-24 without having to pull any offers.

I'm not sure Scowt is right but they show a non Vandyflip visitor coming for an OV. There was one tweet I saw said that they could take 23-24 total. What is the duration period for unused scholarships? PSU took 16 in 2011, 19 in 2012 and 17 in 2013. There must be some mathematical manipulation going on if they don't start pulling offers.

I did the research earlier this year... here is the nugget I posted:

Not factually accurate. PSU didn't fill their 2012 class. As such, Breneman and Anthony Smith enrolled early for 2013 class and counted towards the 2012 class. According to Rivals, PSU had 17 commits for the 2013 class (including Breneman and Smith), however, Issah and Neiko Robinson didn't make it to campus. So, as long as they can find 2 in the 2014 class that can graduate early and enroll for Spring '14 classes at PSU, they can officially claim 22 kids from the 2014 class with 2 counting towards 2013.

So unless Franklin isn't honoring B.O.B. offers, they're done. I would expect to see a few offers not honored though, so I expect they are chasing a few more recruits.

What recruit wouldn't want to play for a school whose administration enabled a pedofile for years so he could victimize countless other children and then hires a head coach who allegedly covered up a rape case at his previous place of employment and then stole recruits from said previous employer after calling players who decommit "not men of honor" and "not men of integrity". Good times in unhappy valley.

You make too much sense, Cusester. Are you sure you're in the right place?!

Normally I tell people to place nice and I did say normally...right?

I wonder if Franklin checks out the young daughters also....that might be his in to Ped St.

You forgot, new coach questions the ability of both his players and coaches who don't possess "pretty" wives or girlfriends.

Every coach in America needs to recruit against Penn St using Franklins statement about integrity, show every parent what he said, and what he does. Then they need to ask them, do you really want your son playing for someone like this? Someone who makes that kind of statement, and acts like he has shouldn't be coaching young men. As I said in a previous post , "if you talk the talk, you have to walk the walk," and Franklin fails miserably.

He never said players. I'm not defending the guy, as it was a stupid comment, but clearly he meant if his assistants have hot wives then obviously they are good at selling themselves and going after someone which in turn means he can tell they will be good recruiters. It's not the most politically correct thing but it's not that bad.

Is Franklin from West Virginia? He looks inbred
