Yes Broyld is a nice player, but I don't think he's had the impact that says season down the drain. He's never been the difference maker in any of our wins. Next man up.
means more time for erv and estime in the slot while he is out

First drive (or second?), dropped TD going away. That was his moment. Next.Agree, but I think he was due for a breakout game...or a big play to win a game. We don't have many with that capability.
Was he supposed to be that good?Well, I do believe that Broyld has been one the biggest busts in SU football history.

no doubt, his position where he could be special was qb. Not having what it takes at that position at this level was his undoing. Kid should have gone MAC, FCS smaller school route played the position and tried to get noticed as an athlete to at least have had the chance to get a look beyond college.Well, I do believe that Broyld has been one of the biggest busts in SU football history.
He has scored exactly 1 TD (rushing) in his SU career. I like AG and he is a good contributor, but he has dropped at least 2 TD passes in the last 2 seasons that I can remember. Some is not his doing as he has been moved around like a utility infielder. Hope he is OK, but as you say, next man up.Yes Broyld is a nice player, but I don't think he's had the impact that says season down the drain. He's never been the difference maker in any of our wins. That orthopedic test isn't reliable. Imaging is always warranted in this case. As mentioned above. Increased movement doesn't necessarily indicate it tore unless it was gross. The imaging would be the definitive conclusion and that's when the swelling comes down for a more accurate and clear image of the knee. Either way, it could be sprain, bone bruise, or even a tear as you indicated. Time will tell. No need to jump the gun.I'm a physical therapist and I have to say that looked like as positive an anterior drawer test as any on tv. ACL tear.

Was he ever considered for the QB position? Can't recallUnfortunately, he never found a true role on this team. He has great physical tools, but is a big-time tweener.
Did not have the mental capacity to be a P5 QB, the aggressiveness to be a P5 LB and truly lacks the hands to be an elite P5 WR. He will continue to do a good job at WR during his time year, but he may not ever live up to the lofty expectations that were placed on him.
Feel bad for him and hopes this isn't too serious. Unfortunately, "next man up" may sound insensitive, but that's the nature of the beast in the highest level of college football.
Avant catches everything. He might not be as big as Broyld or as fast as Estime but he is a career WR who has hands and runs routes from what I have seen. I hope he is back soon. Here's to hoping Avant is ready to go next week to fill in the gap. From what I have seen of him in practice and scrimmages, he looks like a great slot receiver (H Back).

Hunt has turned into the guy I thought (and still think) broyld would've been at qb. So it worked out.Cuseregular said:no doubt, his position where he could be special was qb. Sadly (especially with this issue now likely to linger) what you write is spot on my friend.
his incredible high school career that the NYC snobs dismiss because it was in the wrong part of the stateWhat makes you think that?

big, strong, iffy arm, good runner
If AB had the decision making ability that TH possesses, he'd be a great fit for our system. I know he doesn't throw as well as TH but he is a dynamic runner in the open field. At least he runs a sub 5 sec 40.his incredible high school career that the NYC snobs dismiss because it was in the wrong part of the state
