Broyld injury

I always thought that the main reason was not being able to fully grasp the p5 QB's playbook? Grasping the nuances of the offense and making quick decisions.

It's hard to say either way, I guess. Since he won't have another shot at it. I will say the few times they've had him throw on trick plays he's looked awkward throwing it...
i don't think Hunt makes very good decisions either.

Hunt has turned into the guy I thought (and still think) broyld would've been at qb. So it worked out.
he would have been better at least physically. And maybe close mentally as it wouldn't be totally off base to say a mental error at the qb position (the pick 6) may have cost the game. Certainly contributed to the loss.

this seemed appropriate...

I actually don't hate that idea - But I don't think we have a QB on the team that gives us a better chance at winning.
probably not as good as hunt, which makes me shudder as i type that...but then the QBTBD would at least have hunt as a weapon.

He's good like I said, but he's not an impact player. I'm not sure we even have many of them.
Lack of an impact player. That was my conclusion after the first game--nobody to put the team on his shoulders.

We don't use a TE anyways.

Yes and even practiced there for a while.
Was recruited as a QB. Also BTW, a source at his high school told me the staff didn't think he'd stay four years before turning pro. If true, that would put him in the bust category unless he shows some abilities he hasn't shown so far.

That orthopedic test isn't reliable. Imaging is always warranted in this case. As mentioned above. Increased movement doesn't necessarily indicate it tore unless it was gross. The imaging would be the definitive conclusion and that's when the swelling comes down for a more accurate and clear image of the knee. Either way, it could be sprain, bone bruise, or even a tear as you indicated. Time will tell. No need to jump the gun.
In response to AB not playing and going 5-7. We still had 600 yards of offense. Most without him. We are close to putting it all together. I'm not being Debbie downer. Stupid errors cost us the game. Maryland isn't that much better then us. Stupid plays beat us. We held them to 3 points in the second half. I watched the same game. It'll come together this week. Mark my words. We will be out for blood. Bring on the criticism. I trust MFHHSS. He made a run last year late. We need to be more consistent with our choices aka Hunt when we throw to an open Maryland player after driving deep. 7-5.

An MRI is not 100 percent, therefore, not definitive. When using a dye (myelogram) it enhances the accuracy, but only then to about 85-90%. I had surgery done for a torn rotator cuff and detached labrum about 5 years back. After I had extensive physical therapy for months, I was still having quite a bit of pain and discomfort. I had an ensuing MRI with dye/contrast that came back negative, and was advised by my orthopedic surgeon that it was probably scar tissue, and, that he could go back in and perform a cleaning or, in medical terms, a debridement...I had this performed, only to reveal that my labrum was still torn...and had to reconstruct again...

Would you take 45% reliability and accuracy from an orthopedic test or 90%from imaging? Nothing is a 100% is my point especially when it comes to orthopedic testing it's not accurate enough.
And as far as I'm concerned, botching up a surgery like yours (which has nothing to do with broyld's) has a medical term too...Medical malpractice. My point all along was that saying the anterior draw test provided the answer to the injury was incorrect . Couple that orthopedic test with other positive findings plus imaging and you have a better idea. That's how one generates a diagnosis. In conclusion, my point was not for everyone to jump the gun and think the sky was falling.

Relax, I was just attempting to say that an MRI (even with contrast) imaging isn't an absolute, therefore, not necessarily definitive as you mentioned. And, for what it's worth, my surgeon is the same orthopedic surgeon that performs surgeries for the Carolina Panthers. Without you having any facts or knowledge of my particulars, you're simply uninformed and ignorant to presume that my surgery was botched and one of medical malpractice. Easy to allege though, a typical allegation of today's societal/cultural behavior...

Whoever compared Broyld to Paul Harris was spot on. Very good athlete not a freak though with no real position. Someone who plays hard but makes mistakes as well.

Here we go with the old man speech now. "Damn kids and their rap do da music. Messing up America. Thanks Obama!!"

Chill it. It's a football forum mr know it all. I just simply stated wait for all the information. That's how a diagnosis is made.

As for your shoulder, why does a doctor of any health care field carry malpractice insurance? It's for when they mess up and don't do their job correctly. Your shoulder was still messed up and he told you it was scar tissue. Check and mate. He messed up. It doesn't matter if he's the surgeon to the Carolina panthers. The surgeon messed up. Furthermore this conversation has gone way to far off the beaten trail. This is getting boring. I love syracuse football. I'm done. Drop mic. Peace out.

That last part was to get a good "lol" out of ya. I don't have any ill feeling towards you and won't carry hate. I feel that the sting of our most recent loss is chaping our a$$.

And both terrified of contact.

You're amusing. Your 'know it all' remark and ensuing assumed ascertainment of the facts speaks for itself. I've spent 2 decades plus in the insurance litigation industry...you're a classic example of the 'ol adage, those in the know, don't talk...and those that talk...don't know. Peace out to you...

The only differene is Broyld was taller than Harris. Ive also seen more improvement thus far with Broyld in his time here then I saw with Harris.
