Should we be rooting for Unc tonight?

Supposedly yes, due to losing to them twice and losing to Virginia only once.

I am not sure I am going to do it though, personally. For whatever reason, I find it easier to root for UConn tomorrow than for UNC(or Duke) to win yet another ACC title. In my tribute to ***sh, (bleep) UNC.

This is probably nothing, but did anyone notice during one of the commercials today, espn had a bracket promo up and I saw us in the 8/9 game against Colorado?

That was a matchup he had us in like a month ago...so it's probably just old

Lunardi sucks. He just said he needs to go back and see if SDSU has a resume that can steal a bid. He hasn't really been looking at them as an at large as of now. What the hell does this guy do? He has one job and he hasn't really looked at SDSU's resume as an at large. They go from not on the bubble to a bid after a loss. This guy is a joke.

He had put them as an 11 before their loss so it's not like they were a lock for an at large. This may be one of the craziest selection sundays in history. Gonna be a lot of hootin' and hollerin' after this one.

No one who roots for a team that is on the bubble can genuinely believe anything. But SU is in the mix and I think we have a better resume that most of the teams on the bottom of the bubble.

Who else on the bubble has the record of top 25 wins we have? I did put money on it last night to help show my sincerity. If the Boeheim factor is actually applied as a positive for a change(as the chair said it would be, compared to losing a star player for a stretch), I am not sure which of the other bubble teams are stronger. If the last 10 games no longer are weighted as publicly state, our numbers stand up well, other than rpi.

If our resume is better in the eyes of the committee, cool. However, the fact that we beat them means absolutely squat. That's not what putting the best teams in the field means.

Man ooh man, just 8 hours or so before we know the answer. No way I can continue to drink this much in anticipation. Well, maybe so, as I'm brewing a batch of IPA right now that won't be done until 4am and then, or course, is the chillin phase of hangin' out for a couple of hours. Here is for being drunk as a and believing. That being said... I'm going to go now, Journey is calling me.

Look what UNC has done vs. UVA, ND, Pitt and @Duke the last 4 games.

We came back against that team, on their senior night, down 13. Arguably the 2nd best team in the country. I know people are screaming "we lost 5 of 6 we fail the eye test" -- but anyone who saw that game could see we are a tournament team. UNC has been so so so good on defense lately, we scored 70 on them and had a stretch in the 2nd half where they couldn't stop us.

I'm drunk as well and I am far too confident that the committee will do the right thing by putting syracuse in. Cuse is better than a lot of these teams. Who has beaten the quality teams that syracuse has in the OOC AND CONFERENCE?!? Do the right thing committee. Put the teams who have beaten other good teams in. 4 top 50 wins! Almost 5! I just know it isn't gonna happen tho

I wish I hadnt run out of beer last night and still had some. It's a nice feeling to be able to relax, slow the thoughts down by choice, and enjoy the moment with the aid of belief.

My good friend, I wish I was. I was lamenting having run out of beer and feeling a tad bit envious of these fine members. I have nothing in the tank to help me, but I don't want you to be concerned, I feel I can bounce back...although it may not matter if our season effectively ends tomorrow. Whatever state you're in, I hope you are well as we tread these tumultuous times of tempest together.

I considered it off and on for quite awhile, but got a bit obsessive with my CBB focus today and didnt find time to do anything other than cook, which took me a decent amount of time to get around too. I've been holed up and hunkered down like Cliven Bundy(I really dig that name!) for the day. I guess I'm kind of naturally high on hoops, but at the same time also drained from recent focus. I'm hoping for a good night sleep tonight, which was bart of the reason I didnt venture out...I do have some hard liquor stashed away...and now you've got me thinking about it, d@mmit.

Steveholt Ive uncovered some stuff in the cupboard after some reaching... Among it there is some Canadian whiskey(name brand even lol, Seagrams) 6 yr aged... id either have to drink it straight or on the rocks...nothing to mix it with other than maybe gatorade. Wine tends to give me headaches, which is why I likely may have a small amount stashed that I was given, lol. But if I get ripped, everyone is already gone or about to go, and nobody can appreciate my work while in the same spirit...which is key. I understand my work doesnt always translate well to those who are not lifted, or those on a different level of such. Anyhow, convince me it is worth it!

Well, I looked up whiskey and gatorade and came upon Modern Drunkards forum! I'm not sure if youve ever heard of the magazine, but I found it hilarious, when I used to be able to find it. Man, if I waste tim on here, can you imagine the time I could waste now that I know that magazine has a forum? I suppose the mods may be happy because I'd be here less, although I suppose it may be more likely I show up drunk when I come around.
