Such a defeating feeling when you just know your defense won’t ever make a play.
That was guaranteedOdds D gets a stop? Seems like a guaranteed 5 min drive for a FG, minimum.

I honestly thought I’d be ok with a good offense and a bad defense, as you can win with that and there’s a ceiling for your team if it’s the other way around.Such a defeating feeling when you just know your defense won’t ever make a play.
Thank goodness the Pats don’t have the invincibility cloak anymore and the division is up for grabs.I still think this team is good, but it's not great
What kills me more that the defense is the offense... gotta do more than this. Didn’t do shiz in the second half
Agreed. This game, in a vacuum, was more on the offense. You have to score to beat the Chiefs and our Offense was a mess, led by Allen, who was not even remotely up to the bright lights of going up against the best on national tv.Yep I think this game is more on the offense. Terrible opening drive, missed FG, INT at the end, plus a couple more inconsistent drives
For all the good Beane has done, he basically used his entire “Get out of Jail” free card on the blasphemous management of the DL this offseason. How much are we paying Trent Murphy to not even make the gameday roster?

Given the offense is what has carried us to a 4-2 record, while the defense is one of the worst units in the NFL, clearly the aggregate view of the season drives the anger towards the defense. And rightfully so... they seem hopeless at the moment.
Nope - once you opt out, that’s itWhats the deal with star.. can he wake up mid season and realize Covid isn’t really that big a concern at this point?
Yup. Allen and the offense were elite at 4-0.. Struggled against Tennessee, but I thought he played fine. Unfortunately, I thought that was his new floor. Sadly, he still has a game like this in him.Yep don't get me wrong, the defense has issues. Edmunds is bad, Milano can't get on the field, and the D-line can't generate the pressure they've been paid to make. But tonight showed me how inconsistent the offense is and they've been building that unit up for a while now. No more excuses for Allen, he's got the O-line, he's got the WRs. Time to start putting up points against everyone.
Bad games happen, look at Rodgers yesterday. And Goff. Honestly even Murray struggled tonight with accuracy but had a couple long passes and obviously his legs. Point is he is not going to be superhuman every game and as I’ve said, it is unfair to need him to be.
He is far down the list of issues that have surfaced the last two games imo.
the weather also did not help.
Missed Brown for a wide open TD.I don't ever expect Allen to play like Mahomes week in and week out, but I think he can do better than 14/27 122 yards passing. And yes, the WRs had a few bad drops tonight but Allen had his most inaccurate game this season. One or two better drives changes the outcome of this game IMO.
