Buffalo Bills 2020 Thread

I don't ever expect Allen to play like Mahomes week in and week out, but I think he can do better than 14/27 122 yards passing. And yes, the WRs had a few bad drops tonight but Allen had his most inaccurate game this season. One or two better drives changes the outcome of this game IMO.
Yes he must be better I agree and he was definitely inaccurate much of the game especially early. Would have liked to see that game in completely clear weather though.

Couple days later looking back on it. I think every single one of us would have signed up for KC scoring 26 points in 4 quarters but man was it miserable to experience in real time. They obviously went DB heavy and were willing to give up a ton of rushing yards to limit the explosive plays and it did work. Just needed the offense to be able to put up some points with their limited possessions since KC was eating clock non-stop. Unfortunately they were handing the ball right back for KC to go on another 6 minute drive. I don't know if I recall ever being that miserable for an entire game that was pretty close. The only moment I remember being happy was the fumble and recovery late in the 4th and that lasted about 15 seconds until they showed the replay and it was obvious that it would be overturned.

Time to beat the Jets by 20+ and not let them hang around.

I thought I read somewhere where the Bills had like 19 offensive plays in the 2nd half and I know Allen was terrible other than the two scoring drives but not much room for error with that type of snap count.

Yeah that certainly makes every possession valuable. 2nd half drives were 4 plays and punt, 3 plays and punt, 6 plays for TD and 2 plays with INT. Chiefs drives were 8 plays(punt), 13 plays(TD), 10 plays(FG), 12 plays(FG). So only 13 pts but 43 plays and about 23 minutes of possession.

If you didn't watch the game and just see Mahomes held to 225 yards and the Chiefs only managed 26 points, seems like it should be a coin flip game which is all you can hope for against arguably the best team in the league. Never seemed like a coin flip game though.

so basically frees up close to 10 million after this yr and they were paying him anyway on the IR this short term as it was.

Saw Joe B’s All-22 recap on TBD and it showed how absolutely awful Edmunds has been this year, and again against the Chiefs. He’s clearly a talent, and has played well at the MLB spot, but at some point, they may want to look at him as OLB.

Other interesting tidbits were that Allen didn’t grade out that poorly and his missed throws were amplified due to the lack of opportunities and struggles elsewhere. Which is fair.

The guards got WRECKED by Chris Jones. We desperately need Feliciano to come back and make an impact, along with Ford becoming more consistent. We’re strong at LT, RT and C, but guard play has been trash all year.

Was also complimentary of Zimmer. I guess multiple teams came after Zimmer given we used up our two call ups from the PS so we had to make him active 53 or lose him. There’s a Cover 1 video that shows Zimmer getting destroyed on a run play but overall, he and Butler were our best run front and Oliver won every single matchup when used as a 3 tech, but since McDermott made Phillips/Murphy inactive, they needed to use him as a 1 tech when KC went run heavy.

Things could get dicey on Sunday as the Bills are decimated with injuries right now. Knox, Ford, Brown and Norman already ruled out. Milano and Tre both questionable and were down to 3 healthy lbs and 1 CB.

Yes news in the past 24 hours has turned this game into a more nervous situation than I'd pefer. I hope Milano proves me wrong but I'd consider him out also just based on his history when there was a question.

Well, now we have no TE's for the game either. Although potentially there won't be a game anyway.

Are Kroft and Gilliam on the list as well?

Regardless, could see us losing this game. The defense's "highlight" game this year was against the Jets, and they still benefitted from a number of Jets' drops and brutally missed throws (with White, Wallace & Milano playing)
