what do you think that means? That the 34 group is the actual general contractor for the entire stadium and why do you think they are putting it out there as such? On the surface, It's a nice story but a bit misleading.

Turner and Gilbane are 2 of the 3 largest US based construction managers in the US by the way.

I’m guessing state money and disadvantaged business participation requirements. It’s a great mentorship opportunity.

Highmark Stadium (also referred to as New Highmark Stadium and colloquially as The Pit[2][3]) is an American football stadium under construction in Orchard Park, New York. It will replace the existing Highmark Stadium as the home field of the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL) starting with the 2026 NFL season.

The 62,000-seat stadium is being built adjacent to Erie Community College’s south campus across the street from the existing Highmark Stadium, which will be demolished following the completion of the new stadium. The stadium is being designed by Populous, who previously designed Sahlen Field in downtown Buffalo and twelve other active NFL stadiums, with which the new Orchard Park stadium will share numerous design elements and features.[4]

The stadium is estimated to cost $1.7 billion.[5] Under an agreement with the state of New York, taxpayers will pay $850 million of the construction cost (with $600 million coming from New York State and $250 million coming from Erie County). With the State of New York also paying for all maintenance and repair costs once the stadium opens, it is the largest taxpayer contribution ever for an NFL facility.[6] Economics professor Victor Matheson, who studies stadium subsidies, described the deal as "one of the worst stadium deals in recent memory."[7]
 
Happy Training Camp Day 2025! Having Brown on the PUP with a back is a bit concerning as that tends to linger. Knox with a hamstring shouldn't be a big deal. Just need to get out of this healthy before the season.

My Hard Knox hot take: Tre White will be the star of the show.

I hope Dion isn't a focus. He's around too much.
 
bills are juggling cap space money. you can only have so many all pro high salary talent on the roster before the "bill" aka deferred money comes due. guess it's all in win now pay later.

Last year was the reset year. Their cap is fairly healthy now. They took on by far a team record of dead money last year and were still a drive away from the Super Bowl. They are fine for another 3-4 years before they may have to do it again and that's only if they have a handful of new guys like Torrance, Kincaid, Keon, Bishop all deserve big paydays.

They need to focus on making Kincaid more of a threat this year. He has done okay so far, but Bills need a breakout star receiver and he is the best bet.

Yes. This guy was drafted to be the rare downfield threat tight end . He was not drafted for his blocking . So far I’m not seeing the offensive dominance that he was drafted for. I’m seeing a good player, not an elite offensive one

He went from being bad early in the year to maybe slightly below average to average starter by the playoffs. I'd have to assume that it the trajectory that you hope for in a late 2nd round rookie safety.

Joe B wrote an article about Kincaid last season and how the injuries he had torpedoed his season.

The 2024 season certainly didn’t go as Kincaid or the Bills had hoped, with a lot of that stemming from injuries that not only impacted Kincaid’s availability but also how much the team felt comfortable playing him after his return from the injury. In the first nine games — before Kincaid’s injury in Week 10 — Kincaid took 66 percent of the offensive snaps when both he and Dawson Knox were available, while Knox had nearly 56 percent of snaps over that timeframe. Upon Kincaid’s return in Week 15, he took only 37 percent of offensive snaps, clearly showing the injury had altered his impact on the season. Before the injury, Kincaid was on a full-season pace to be 10th in the NFL in receptions for tight ends, and 13th in receiving yards. Considering Kincaid’s role could grow even more than his early 2024 usage, that is the ‘why’ behind him being someone who could take a big step forward in 2025.

he looked slow and stiff in limited action. Sometimes that appearance is just due to not being all that familiar with the system and having to think a lot which slows you down. Once the system is more familiar to you, it frees your mind and you play faster

On the other hand I thought buffalos defensive system was known to be fairly simple ?
 
Well in less then stellar news it looks like Hairston tore his ACL today. Bills streak with bad Defensive injuries continues.

I assume a reunion with Rasul Douglas is iminent.
