My draft prediction - Bills trade down 4 spots with the Giants (who target QB Dart at 30). Bills give Giants a 5th and get one of the Giants two Round 3 picks. So Bills get their CB at 34 (Amos?) and a 3rd. None of the three teams at 31-33 will target a CB. Unless of course things change.

Odds are basically impossible that would happen. I know little about Hairston but he seems to be a different type of player. Elam was supposedly a physical DB but Hairston is much faster.

Seems like a very solid pick, Buffalo clearly needed a potential long term CB, hopefully Hairston is that guy. Interested to see what we do today, would love to trade back one of the 2nd rounders and get that 3rd rounder back.

Hairston played a lot more zone coverage in college and could also press man if needed. I get the concerns but it's a different situation between him and Elam

We need more overall speed on this roster. This is a good start. I don’t care that he’s a weak tackler. Deion sanders couldn’t tackle. If you are relying on corners to tackle then you are doing it wrong

About a dozen guys left that I would be thrilled with. Seems like there may be a sweet spot in the 40-48 range to get a guy that was in the mix at 30. Completely fine giving up 56, 132 and one of those comp 5s to get up into that range and secure someone like Mike Green, Ezeiruaku, JTT, Burden or Emmanwori or even double dip at CB with Johnson or Amos and turn a weakness into a deep, solid group. They can't possibly draft 10 guys and bring them all to camp so there has to be a move up coming sometime tonight whether it be up into rd 2 or moving one of the 4s into rd 3.

My thoughts exactly, depends on how impactful Sanders is but still holes to fill. At least they got a 3rd in return.

I like the pick but the real question seems to be whether he would have fallen to them anyways. Two 2nds is better than a third. I wonder if beane panicked?

I’ll say this, with the amount of draft capital (trades AND picks) expended on defense- no more excuses this year. None.

Is there a world where McCord falls to the 6th round and Buffalo picks him up as a cheap, capable back up?

Have to say this draft has been damn good IMO all picks so far 1-4 will get playing time and contribute. A lot of questions yesterday on why take a smaller DT well we just drafted the big run stuffing type in walker and it's funny because his comparison is Jordan Phillips.
