Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

At this point its hard to think there's not a bad curse on this franchise. From 13 seconds to the Diggs and Kincaid drops its always something. Even tonight after all the B S if the Cooks play is actually called correctly Buffalo kicks a walk off FG. Its unfathomable the streak of bad luck ineptitude or whatever that haunts this franchise.
I mean how about Josh fumbling the ball backwards for 15 yards to put Denver in fg range at the end of the first.

I love McD… amazing human being and good coach. But how many more chances is he going to get? The two big issues for the team (other thanthan injuries) is Josh has zero margin for error because of his receivers and the D being so leaky on third downs. It would be okay if this was a one time thing, but this is three years running on the receivers and 5 or 6 on the D. Something has gotta give.

Off season priorities:
1. Wr1
2 wr2
3. Re sign cooks as number 3
4. Lb 1
5. Lb 2
6. SS1 - Rapp cannot see the field again as a starter
7. Rde 1… bosa was a one year deal right?
8. New oc? I dunno… how much is on Brady and how much is on the lack of talent? I am curious why they waited to the second half to go 3 te and non shotgun. Romo called it in the first half. Why was the first pass to a tight end in the second half? Also in the ot every first was a telegraphed run against a team sitting on the run. Brady seems too mechanical to me… he needs to make quicker adjustments. Also receivers seem to go to his offense and disappear. Ironic because he made his name at LSU w Jefferson and Chase and Burrows. But then again it’s not his fault the D can’t get off the field and give him the ball. This team puts up points against anyone… My guy says stick with Brady to not do a complete tear down.
9. New DC? Not sure it matters who the DC is if McD is the coach. But this is year gazillion and one where the Bills run D stinks and they can’t get off the field on third downs in the playoffs.
10. Re sign Tre. Between white and Benford and Hairston that is a solid db rotation.
11. Young LT. thet need to start succession planning over there.
13 kicker for the future.

This team has a lot to build on;
- cook
- good o line
- 3 solid te
- I think a lot of depth in the secondary especially since white is almost back
- solid to good DTs especially if Hoecht and Oliver can get healthy.
- most importantly the best qb in the league

See you guys in the Bills 2026 thread!

Nobody's in the blue tent more than Waddle, I think we know how that would end if he became a Bill.
Meyers I can see the reluctance for a slot guy.
Shaheed for a mid round pick always made sense.

Ya idk about Brady. Moved the ball plenty and you can't really blame him for the turnovers. But it was reminiscent of the home KC game. D adjusted after getting run all over in the 1st half and he didn't have a counter ready. Basically played Canadian football OT, I couldn't believe they ran on 1st down for a 3rd time after the previous two were stuffed. Was the plan to try and go 6 for 6 on 3rd downs that drive? Damn.

So all year they were able to keep Bosa healthy for the playoffs and he didn't do shiit.

My main problem with Brady was late in the game he Continued to run Cook up the middle on first down for a yard.

Ya at some point it's just too much. How about the one time we jump offsides (good signing Beane, ObanJoke) happens to also be the one play we actually recover a fumble...and the two had nothing to do with each other. What are the odds of that?

In the history of the NFL, has there ever been a stretch like this where a team was a legit Super Bowl contender for this long (6-7 years) but didn't make a Super Bowl?

Loss is 100% on your franchise QB. You post hi

josh comes up light again! Narrative will be lost in the off season but it’s 100% on Josh. It’s not one play but Field goal/ field goal/ punt.

Talk about Beane and McDermott all you want but Josh has not come through the last 2 years in the playoffs when it matters most
Reminds me of all those years in Green Bay when Rogers would come up short from 2011-2020 and most would blame that dufus coach and Aaron would get a pass. I know the key difference is they did win one before those playoff flameouts but GB definitely left some titles on the table after winning SB 45.

That means the pat’s will beat houston
From what I last night and the Rams having the highest ceiling you don't have to worry about the Patriots winning it all. Seattle or LA smokes them.

Lost in all the craziness is the Savage & Dane Jackson situations. Hard to expect much from 11th stringers but they couldn't give us one snap without giving up a TD, unbelievable.
Can the defense just have a normal amount of injuries one time while we have prime JA 😞
Is there an electrical substation near the Bills practice facility?

In the entire world of sports there is nothing more brutal than being a Bills fan. Nothing.
I’d still take the yearly heartbreak over the 15+ straight years of missed playoffs coach/QB shuffling. There is an energy and excitement in Western New York when the Bills are in the playoffs. I am grateful to have experienced that over the last several years. The first decade and a half of this century sucked!
