Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

Honestly live I thought the Ravens were gonna block it. The dude who came flying in was pissed as he'll after the kick
I was paranoid as hell too. I was thinking that on 3rd down we should fake the kneel and run it into the end zone since they would have let them score . What are the odds of giving up a TD with less than 30 secs left and 0 TO?

With this team probably 50/50. McDermott to his credit played that pretty much perfectly at the end with the kick ending the game. Only quibble is you'd like to leave sometime in case it's a bad snap but with 0 timeouts left the chance of actually getting lined back up again anyway is almost zero. Also with Buffalo's luck the Ravens return the kick 107 yards for a score if we have to kick off.

Edit it was 4th Down so bad snap redo wasn't in play .

I'll never experience a weekend of comebacks like this again in my life. First Cuse Saturday vs UConn. I'm also a diehard Orioles fan, and they literally did something that had never been done in MLB history last night (getting no hit into the 9th with 2 outs and nobody on and down 3-0, yet found a way to battle back and win). Then tonight with the Bills. Absolutely unreal weekend.
With Melo going into the HOF too. Great sports weekend.

Honestly was expecting something catastrophic to happen. Allen drops the ball kneeling. The kick gets blocked. The long snapper slips on the field running out there.

The fact it was executed perfectly was remarkable.

Lmao same. I kept thinking how can the most absurd thing happen to Buffalo right now to blow this.

I’m done with this one.

Awful spot but why the hell do you slide right there? And then Davis cuts it outside? Insane
For the record I moved upstairs to my bedroom and peacock after this and the entire tide turned.

Ironically , Baltimore scoring so fast kept us in the game because it kept getting us the ball back with time

Easiest call ever. McDermott finally learned vs Mahomes but he probably punts there to. When ur playing the elite qbs u go for that 4th down 10 out of 10 times, period.
Even if they don’t get it , they likelly still end up with the ball and time with only a FG needed to win

What these coaches don’t get is you want to open up as many avenues to victory as possible. Going for it there offers you the chance to immediately end it with a conversion , end it with a missed bills FG, or end it with a FG after a bills FG . Punting it meant you essentially had to stop Allen . Bad judgement

Well in my defense, it was 40-25 with less than 10 minutes left. Even if the Bills were able to score, there was no indication they were going to be able to stop Baltimore. There had to be like a 1% chance of winning when I went to bed. Lessons have been learned...

Obviously, an amazing win last night. But based on what I saw yesterday, I still think the Ravens are the best team in the league and will be a nightmare to beat this year.
100% but they haven't been great in the playoffs by any means.

Definite props to Keon. He’s a critical part of the team and we need consistent production.

Re: Ravens, they are a great team, structured very well...but we saw Week 1 Derrick Henry

I know he's got legendary workouts and such, but that's tough over 20 weeks.

(It's possible I'm trying to talk myself into something here)

But getting a win over the Ravens in Week 1 is ridiculous, even at home.

While the Buffalo D was not great a times. One thing that was good is that they created a ton of pressure on a QB that is very tough to contain. Only 3-4 guys in the league would escape some what they applied last night. Pressure up front is all that might save them

For playoff purposes, you can't overstate the importance of last night's win, because we all know the Ravens are losing very few games this year and having that home field tiebreaker is huge.

The schedule shapes up very nicely for Buffalo. This stretch really should be 1 loss maximum.

at Jets
vs. Miami
vs. New Orleans
vs. New England
at Atlanta
at Carolina

And then KC's September schedule is just brutal. They have Philly this Sunday and then the Ravens at the end of the month. 1-3 is very possible.

Agreed, the combo of QB/ RB is lethal there. Jackson is just incredible he is so tough to defend then you throw a freak of nature in Henry who is super fresh against this undersized defense and it's kind of recipe for disaster.

Ton of work to do, onward and upward. Going to come down to a few moments in January once again.

I love Lamar. I've never seen a football player in my life with his body control. He can accelerate and stop on a dime and then reaccelerate like some type of robot.

Our only hope is playoff Lamar shows up
And turns it over. Cause we aren’t stopping them from getting 10 yards by 4 downs
Ended up Henry with the fumble and some dumb coaching / playcalling at the end. Harbaugh gets a lot of credit as a good coach but Baltimore loses way too many of these games. On this mornings podcast Bill Simmons called the Ravens the NFL version of the James Harden Rockets. Great stats and regular seasons but can't get it done in crunch time.
