Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

I would have went for that if I was Harbaugh. 3 yards to win the game with that offense?
Also the defense is gassed. The classic you should just do the opposite of what the opponent wants scenario.

Freaking incredible. Best call of the night was Collinsworth: "Twenty-five thousand fans trying to get back in the building."
All those that left early should be required to do the Game of Thrones shame march before being allowed to attend another game.

For playoff purposes, you can't overstate the importance of last night's win, because we all know the Ravens are losing very few games this year and having that home field tiebreaker is huge.

The schedule shapes up very nicely for Buffalo. This stretch really should be 1 loss maximum.

at Jets
vs. Miami
vs. New Orleans
vs. New England
at Atlanta
at Carolina

And then KC's September schedule is just brutal. They have Philly this Sunday and then the Ravens at the end of the month. 1-3 is very possible.
Too lazy to look this up but don't they only cross the Mississippi one time this year?

I love Lamar. I've never seen a football player in my life with his body control. He can accelerate and stop on a dime and then reaccelerate like some type of robot.
Me too, fun to watch and almost impossible to defend. He's unbelievable really, his athleticism is just ridiculous. Bills QB ain't bad either!

November 20th at Houston. And then at the Saints on Sept. 28th. I'll have to look at a map to see if the Superdome is on the East or West side of the Mississippi River.
HA!!! I believe it is East as would be the hotel but not by much. Hotel that most teams stay at would be east by about 100 yards but I believe the game vs the saints is actually in Buffalo

Saw the highlights over and over again and what continues to strike me is how slow Rapp is. Dude had the angle several times and just gets blown by like he’s not even there. Henry is good. Henry is fast for his size. But he’s not prime Chris Johnson fast which is what we made him look like

There better be a number of Safety visits to One Bills Drive happening now. It was an abysmal performance by both Rapp and Bishop.

This is insane

Wait for it…… I think nothing changes barring injury. Someone over there thinks scheme and player ability to carry out the scheme trumps physical talent. We (us here ) have all been saying the same thing over and over again. That our safeties are too small and too slow. There is NO WAY the Bills talent evaluators don’t see this. But for whatever reason, they got it in their heads that any talent upgrade available would be a downgrade in scheme implementation and thus nothing changes.

I think the receiving corps, inclusive of Kincaid, will be fine-good. Cornerback will be good when the two guys return. And it looks like we may actually have some depth there. DL should be good and we're getting a couple of guys back in week 7.
The safeties however...

They are not beating either Cincy or KC with these two dudes as starters at safety... they might not even beat San Diego tbh. This is the worse safety combo I've ever seen for the Bills in my 40+ years as a fan. Unlike the post above which implies McD and Beane are good with the safety play, I disagree I think they realise how bad the situation is but they felt the d-line was a bigger problem and invested there heavily this off season. FWIW the line does seem better, although I didn't see how the rookie DTs played.

Obviously, an amazing win last night. But based on what I saw yesterday, I still think the Ravens are the best team in the league and will be a nightmare to beat this year.

The issue with the Ravens is they are unstoppable at times like the first half of Sunday, but they beat themselves up with the most ill timed mistakes.

Will be interesting to see how the team comes out Sunday. The defense needs to begin to right the ship for sure. So many questions to be answered there by the back 7. Thought the Jets looked inspired and their offense under Fields looked actually pretty good. Lets hope they get win #2 and onto the next.

In the post Brady AFC East the Jets have been the biggest division thorn in Buffalo's side, right?

D playing well but Wrs again major struggle to get open. Samuel inactive again, probably changed next week.
