This is yet again evidence of how bad the bills D line is. Chiefs interior line has been ass all year yet we had minimal success . Meanwhile Texans and eagles destroyed them.

Just like the year we lost to Cincy. Their O line was terrible and we got no pressure on them. Next game they got wrecked

Bills gave up 32 points to this team? lol what a joke.

100%. Obviously Philly D is top tier elite and just like TB with Brady it is all about pressure up front.

It’s a joke our performance against them.

Didn’t have a power rusher over Thuney to push his shite in repeatedly. And secondary too hurt to take away the quick game.

Bills D was quite bad by most metrics. A lot of it was masked by turnover luck and getting to play from ahead due to the offense

Was he the guy Philips picked up and dropped on mahommes that second to last drive ?

Our elite LG playing LT the last portion of the season. Quick, but simply not big enough or long enough to deal with real power rushes. Wasn’t able to reset himself the whole Super Bowl. Repeatedly in Mahomes lap. Including in that 2nd int.

Yeah Bills don't have the horses to do what Philly did.

D-line and corner depth were issues all year

i do think the bills o line would have held up much better than the chiefs

I think they need to rebuild the secondary (one stud db, one staring caliber safety and depth) get an impact DE and a WR who can get separation.

Would add IDL (1 tech) to that but that's where I'm at

My most cherished thought after tonight’s game is there is a very real chance Travis Kelces last game was a complete and utter debacle . And he will have this big fat L as a lasting memory that haunts him even as he’s more generally remembered as an all time great

So frustrating. Defense can be so volatile. Much less the shorter sample in the postseason. How is it ours stinks every single January regardless of Reg Season ranking?
It's not like McBean hasn't prioritized it. There's no easy fix. Hard to see anything changing with this coach.

As has been pointed out a few times already, last night showed that despite probably close to a 100Mill + the last handful of years this bills D line is no where close where it needs to be. It again needs to be completely overhauled. Obviously Von will be cut or will redo his contract significantly so we will free up some $$. That said safety DE and CB are all huge issues right now that need be addressed. We do have 2 second round picks but no third with the Cooper trade. We have 2 4th rounders and should get a 3rd via compensatory pick as well. Could trade up to take a big swing but again without a third rd pick and the amount ofh oles to fill (didn't even mention WR) not sure you can go crazy.

I know everyone wants a trade for a DE but be it Garrett or Crosby either team is gonna want a haul and that's before factoring in the cap. Massive off-season for the front office.

They've tried a few different ways but as you noted it really hasn't worked save for 2 years ago before Von tore his ACL and once he went down there went that. I am not sure there's any easy answer to be honest. We've tried to fill gaps via the draft with so/so success. Coleman appears to have been a miss and we probably either should have took Worthy or grabbed Dejean. Kincaid was hurt all this year so I gave him a pass but that trade up has been OK but not as good as we had hoped. We need to hit a couple of home runs this drat and really solidify a couple of spots. DE, CB, WR seem to be the 3 most obvious. Safety as well but Bishop has shown progress and I assume they may try the FA route there.

DE for this team just seems like a wasteland, the guys selected haven't been bad but Epenesa and Groot are usually no shows in the playoffs and Von clearly has little left.

As much as I love Garrett, if he costs more than 1 first you just can’t do it. I’m hearing two firsts as a starting point . Screw that. He’s at the age when they start to slow down. If they had one need it would be justifiable. They don’t. They have numerous. Let’s face it, even with the most dominant pass rushers , most plays the QB is NOT pressured.

It was crazy how often Rousseau was on the ground against that weak chiefs line.

From 1-5 across the board I agree and Josh is excellent at avoiding sacks, but Philly's defensive performance was one of the best I've seen in my life. Both the D-line and secondary were all over the Chiefs

Agree, but the Chiefs dropped like 5 passes where there was no Defender about them (it seemed to me)

Did appear like Mahomes was rushed and perhaps timing and all that.

Pretty funny how they roasted Nick Wright. Claiming they had to unfurl all this stuff cause it was prepaid assuming a chiefs win

Saw this yesterday and laughed my ass off

I don't have any real opinion on Nick Wright other than he is an ugly dude but he did take this rather well all things considered.
