100%. Obviously Philly D is top tier elite and just like TB with Brady it is all about pressure up front. This is yet again evidence of how bad the bills D line is. Chiefs interior line has been ass all year yet we had minimal success . Meanwhile Texans and eagles destroyed them.
Just like the year we lost to Cincy. Their O line was terrible and we got no pressure on them. Next game they got wrecked
Didn’t have a power rusher over Thuney to push his shite in repeatedly. And secondary too hurt to take away the quick game.Bills gave up 32 points to this team? lol what a joke.
Bills D was quite bad by most metrics. A lot of it was masked by turnover luck and getting to play from ahead due to the offenseDidn’t have a power rusher over Thuney to push his shite in repeatedly. And secondary too hurt to take away the quick game.
Was he the guy Philips picked up and dropped on mahommes that second to last drive ?Didn’t have a power rusher over Thuney to push his shite in repeatedly. And secondary too hurt to take away the quick game.
Our elite LG playing LT the last portion of the season. Quick, but simply not big enough or long enough to deal with real power rushes. Wasn’t able to reset himself the whole Super Bowl. Repeatedly in Mahomes lap. Including in that 2nd int.Was he the guy Philips picked up and dropped on mahommes that second to last drive ?

i do think the bills o line would have held up much better than the chiefsYeah Bills don't have the horses to do what Philly did.
D-line and corner depth were issues all year
I think they need to rebuild the secondary (one stud db, one staring caliber safety and depth) get an impact DE and a WR who can get separation.
So frustrating. Defense can be so volatile. Much less the shorter sample in the postseason. How is it ours stinks every single January regardless of Reg Season ranking? This is yet again evidence of how bad the bills D line is. It's not like McBean hasn't prioritized it. There's no easy fix. Hard to see anything changing with this coach.
As much as I love Garrett, if he costs more than 1 first you just can’t do it. I’m hearing two firsts as a starting point . Screw that. He’s at the age when they start to slow down. If they had one need it would be justifiable. They don’t. They have numerous. Let’s face it, even with the most dominant pass rushers , most plays the QB is NOT pressured. They've tried a few different ways but as you noted it really hasn't worked save for 2 years ago before Von tore his ACL and once he went down there went that. I am not sure there's any easy answer to be honest. We've tried to fill gaps via the draft with so/so success. Coleman appears to have been a miss and we probably either should have took Worthy or grabbed Dejean. Kincaid was hurt all this year so I gave him a pass but that trade up has been OK but not as good as we had hoped. We need to hit a couple of home runs this drat and really solidify a couple of spots. DE, CB, WR seem to be the 3 most obvious. Safety as well but Bishop has shown progress and I assume they may try the FA route there.
DE for this team just seems like a wasteland, the guys selected haven't been bad but Epenesa and Groot are usually no shows in the playoffs and Von clearly has little left.
It was crazy how often Rousseau was on the ground against that weak chiefs line. They've tried a few different ways but as you noted it really hasn't worked save for 2 years ago before Von tore his ACL and once he went down there went that. From 1-5 across the board I agree and Josh is excellent at avoiding sacks, but Philly's defensive performance was one of the best I've seen in my life. Both the D-line and secondary were all over the Chiefs
Pretty funny how they roasted Nick Wright. Claiming they had to unfurl all this stuff cause it was prepaid assuming a chiefs win
