Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

Bengals game just got tougher. Burrow will be back in the next couple weeks it sounds like.

Rumor has it that we offered a third this year and a 1 next year for waddle and Miami said no. Assuming this is true, our GM is gaslighting us

Beane knows we desperately need WR help (if he didn't pre-season he sure as hell does now) but he's not gonna come out and say it (not sure any GM would). He needs to have a huge offseason and draft or Pegula needs to consider wholesale changes at GM/Coach.

So you’re saying something we ALL realized for two years , Beane may have just figured out. They say the fans are dumb.

One thing I will say regarding Allen, he’s nowhere near as explosive initiating his runs as he used to be. He seems to still have his top gear once he gets going but I’m just not used to see him getting caught so often right as he starts to accelerate. This is just Father Time and there’s no escape for any one .

You know how coaching and staffs and front offices can be at time,s ie stubborn. Fanbases often identify issues right away that coaching staffs/front offices either think they can fix in house or isn't that big a deal. Fanbases aren't always realistic but we've been harping on the WR issue every since Diggs was traded and we didn't appear to address the issue especially this past offseason.

He's a second later than he used to be. If D is playing man they have their backs to the QB opening up a big gainer.

WR Mecole Hardman come on down. Coming off Packers practice squad. Has three Super Bowl rings. Ran a 4.33 at 2019 combine.

That would be a strategic player move, we don't really do that

I find it hilarious that Bean thought letting it get out that they almost traded for waddle but refused to make the 1st round pick from 2026 instead of ‘27.. would make us think better of him

Kincaid remains out of practice and is probably out Sunday along with Mathis at DT. DE is a major concern with the rookie DE now also on IR. You wonder if they may activate Morgan Fox after only a few practices.

In better news Bosa and Benford are now full participants and are joined by Taron, Epenesa, Palmer (thank god), TJ Sanders, Phillips, Shaq Thompson and Dorian Williams. Defense getting some much needed help at DT and LB.

Appears highly likely Gabe Davis will be active on Sunday as he practiced with the 1st team today and specifically with Allen.

Ruben Kincaid is more likely to be available to suit up any given Sunday than Dalton.
I just can't believe the Patriots have a 2.5 game division lead at this moment.
well they’ve 8-2.. it’s not bills have been bad. Who knew the pat’s were going to be this good

Maybe I am overreacting, but Sunday feels like a must win. I don’t love the matchup tbh. I think we find out today if Bucky Irving will be available for TB.

I don't think it's an overreaction. Winning the division is probably off the table with a loss on Sunday. That would mean being three games back from New England with seven games left to play.

Playoffs IMO are still likely even with a loss to Tampa, since the Bills hold the tiebreaker with KC and Baltimore who will be competing for those wild card spots. I see the Bills as underdogs vs. Philly and at New England, around a pick em at Pittsburgh, and favored in the other games.

But who knows, over the past 5-6 years, it seems like the same thing every year. Hot start, miserable mid-season stretch where everyone panics, strong regular season finish to win the division, and then a heartbreaking playoff loss to KC.

Don’t love the matchup with Cincinnati either. Burrow will be back for that game and has had the Bills number. I know their defense is all time bad, but that had shootout written all over it.

If we're talking actual betting odds, I would guess Buffalo will be favored over:
  • Tampa
  • Houston
  • Pittsburgh
  • Cinci
  • Cleveland
  • Jets
with a chance that we're favored at home against Philly depending on how the two teams are playing by then, if starters are playing, etc. Vegas currently views Pittsburgh as being roughly on par with the Chicago Bears; even with a 1.5-2 point buffer at home, I think Buffalo will be favored on the road against them (unless we look like garbage these next two games/Pittsburgh suddenly looks great).

Hard to know what Cincy will look like at that point. If they lose their next two games they are essentially out of the playoffs and may decide to shut Burrow down and not him play on Thanksgiving vs the Ravens. On the other hand if they win one of those and beat Baltimore they clearly that game takes on another level. I agree from a Bills D standpoint it doesn't scream great matchup at all but man that Cincy D is horrid.

Cusefan has an weird Burrow obsession. Cincy always stinks at the beginning of seasons when JB is coming off injury; this is a similar situation so I'm not going to lose sleep over that one though obviously this team has proven it can lose to anybody.

Tampa's run D isn't an ideal matchup for our offense but I always like the Bills in these home games vs nfc teams especially of an L. Baker appears hurt & they've gotten lucky in some games.

Houston I think has nightmare written all over it if Stroud plays. Hard to see how we move the ball at all there.
