That’s actually a good idea. Gives some meaning to the regular season. First world problems being good enough that getting to the playoffs isn’t really part of the week to week angst of fandom. Lord knows we were clamoring for that for a long ass time

Your being kind, not to mention the bizarre decision to kick in the endzone and then the cloak and dagger story about calling for a squib but the kicker not getting the info (ya right). I like McDermott but we never got a real explanation on what happened there, really soured me on him ever getting over the hump.

This feels like a trap game for Buffalo. I know the next opponent is the Saints but all the media coverage is how bad Miami is and how Buffalo should roll, Buffalo favored in the biggest line of the season so far etc etc. The Bills D is pretty banged up right now with ED and Milano out and three other guys questionable. I suspect Miami is going to give us all we can handle with how desperate they are. Hopefully Buffalo comes out and gets a quick score and Miami packs it in but I fear the opposite.

COACH MCDERMOTT, the new rule is that if the opponent kicks the ball into the end zone, with :08 on the clock, you WILL GET THE BALL AT THE 35 with no time off the clock. INSTRUCT your returner not to return it.

THEN, you either complete a pass on the sideline, or get a Patriots PI penalty, and kick a FG
