Come on man. It wasn’t even to get to the Super Bowl. They could have easily lost the next game. Horrific loss for sure but organization will be fine. The problem you are seeing is when you pay the franchise QB there is no room for error at any other spot. These qb’s making 50 million a year have to be close to perfect to win 11-13 games and get to the playoffs where anything can happen.

I don’t think this Bills team is very good but they can make a run. Not worried about home field

I was arguing for them to sit Josh today. They could make the superbowl or they could lose next week and I wouldn’t be surprised. There just isn’t a lot of difference between these AFC playoff teams (except Pitt if they make it). This media narrative that THIS is the year for Allen or he’s some kind of failure is asinine and lazy reporting. The bills team is not near as good as previous editions

Lot of similarities to this Bills team and Brady’s last year in NE before he went to Tampa because he had now weapons there. I don’t care how good your QB is. He can only cover up so much with no weapons on the outside. Watching the Sunday night game is a completely different sport to how the Bills have to run their offense. Allen probably shouldn’t play cause they need him to run. It’s their second best threat after Cook. If he aggravates that injury they are cooked.

Agree with you here 100%. Josh needs to play like the 50 mil guy they are paying him to be as well. Too many times at the end of games he’s crapped the bed in playoffs all anyone want to bring up is 13 seconds. The lack of help gets old. He has top 3 o line, top 3 running back. Solid tight ends. Wide receiver spot is what it is but tired of hearing it. I simply don’t care much about regular season anymore. It won’t be what bills fans discuss anymore in the off season. Make the playoffs, mission accomplished so far.

There won’t be a better qb in the playoffs than Josh Allen but there certainly are better teams this year.

At this point, go sabres

i generally agree with your opinions but im not seeing what you’re seeing here .. maybe im missing something? I don’t think it makes much difference if you are at NE or at Jacksonville or at Denver relative to the chasm of difference between a hobbled vs healthy Allen.

I also don’t think sitting him means you lose to the jets.

My assumption is as follows.

With it being the Jets the Bills probably only need a qtr plus from Allen so he'll likely get at minimum the 2nd half off.

I maybe in the minority but id like to avoid NE in the 1st round. Don't think they're some juggernaut but a 3rd matchup so close after the big win there to me spells trouble. Id mich rather see a team we haven't played this year and who hasn't scouted and played Josh twice already.

They also have backup kicker who stinks, a hobbled QB who you would send out taking more hits, and an opposing team that seemed content playing conservative the entire half.

I have a hard time thingin that this guy is the best Kicker sitting around?

Not that the XP was his fault.

Big picture a loss lets them rest key parts.

In those conditions, with the concerns for potential injury, I had no problem with them going for the win. It also turned out to be the correct decision with the correct play call, but their MVP QB made a horrendous throw to a wide open Shakir and that was that.

I'm definitely not an NFL guy, but do watch the 49ers when they are good, and the Bills and Giants when they are in the playoffs. Given that, I surprised to learn that game times are not known within a week of kickoff! I would think this would cause a lot of problems with traveling, parties, etc.: is this really unpopular with fans?

Makes sense for the Chargers. Denver wants the 1 seed obviously and if your the Chargers why risk an already banged up team against an opponent your probably not beating anyway

Pats (maybe w no Diggs?) then Broncos vs Jags then Texans/Ravens.
The 7 looks pretty good to me.
There's no question we should and will sit guys. I just don't know if the Jets can beat our backups.
