Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

Those that were looking for us to kneel on first down when trailing, I'm not sure what to tell you other than look no further than the Titans game we fumbled the snap and the Vikings game where we fumbled the snap, both on sneak plays.

There are no guarantees in the NFL - when trailing, you take the points, especially in the playoffs. It is not a time to get cute.
Of course there are no guarantees, it's about probabilities. If it's close then ok. Don't think it really is. We would've had 3 more chances to get a foot, not just 1, that matters a lot. Much less chance you screw that up than give up a FG in a minute. Obv Jax agrees, why are they letting us score.
It's an unusual situation so whatever, moving on.

Its crazy. Most of what I’ve heard so far is “you can’t really blame Herbert”. Dude missed about a half dozen throws where he left the pocket and had receivers well down the field with more separation than almost any Josh Allen receiver
He had the guy wide open on that 4th down run early and didnt throw the ball. He looked lost most of the game.

imagine he takes the knee and then we get stuffed on the next play. Once we take the knee the Jags will have to play D because there will be so little time, then the Bills have forced their own hand.

Its not like this is the question of 2 min left on the clock. it was down close to 1 min.

He was seeing ghosts. The tape did him no favors.

I thought both Lawrence and Herbert looked lost a decent amount. Trevor made some truly awful throws, including that last one to seal the game.
I am rather surprised at the positive reviews Tlaw is getting from some of the deep dive shows like the Athletic, excusing that last int. They needed 25yds in a minute, not exactly hail mary time.
How about the wimpy running from them both - 3rd&Goal Herbert gets taken down by a little DB & Tlaw on the 4th down...Geez I guess we take that for granted, I know not everyone's built like 17 but they're not Tua either.

I didn't have an issue with it because with Buffalo you can almost guarantee that would have backfired with either a penalty or something stupid and before you know it it's 4th and goal from the 5 somehow. Now if that was against Mahomes or Stafford then no you need to kneel it there 100% and run the clock.

I think you score whenever you can score. I never liked that "scored too early" term.

If it's Brady, Mahomes or Montana on the other side, then ok. But Trevor Lawrence is not one of them.

Davis has a torn ACL as expected and is done.
Poyer is out for this week but if we can win has a chance in the AFC title game

21 Day window being opened for both Oliver and Samuel. I expect both will play (I Hope).
Wonder what the data is on opening 21-day window and playing that week...?

I know we've had a couple of them return this year -- can't recall if any played that week of activation, especially having missed as much time as both did.

That said, I like Samuel a lot more than Hardman... and Oliver is in a class by himself. If either are above 75%, activate them and let's go.

Romo kept acting as if the bills were some huge favorite . “This Jacksonville team is for real!” Who the hell thought otherwise? They were freaking betting favorites to win. “Now they are starting to believe!” Why wouldn’t they ? They had the better record and were at home. 🥸
The last 2 months the Jacksonville players and coaches were really leaning into the "nobody believes in us" theme and Romo was probably going off that.

Neither Houston’s nor Pittsburgh’s offense is going to pose a threat to them . 10 points is all they will need
I just want Houston to advance so they can smack around Maye.

Ya if either are even remotely close I think you have to play them. Both could play huge roles on Saturday, especially Samuel with Davis out now and Shavers injured as well (knee injury, severity unknown).

I wouldn't be surprised if Buffalo activated Samuel and Hardman for Sat.

low key the fact Denver has pretty good winter weather is unknown to most people. Its generally mild winters with a lot of sun but the occasional snow DUMP
This is a very on point description. Our best kept secret, and locals always say not to tell outsiders about our winter weather. We get some of the most sun of anywhere that gets winter. Also most snow if it's 4-5" or less will melt the same day it falls, and streets actually dry in the evening, because of the sun. Last Friday an example of that.

That 40 degree forecast with sun and no wind will feel like low 50's easily

I'd flip this on the pass vs rush. Denver is the #2 rush D. We've gotten torched a lot this season by passing over to Moss' side. I will assuredly pull the rest of my hair out as long as he's lined up opposite Surtain. The Buffalo coaching staff will have goose bumps thinking up the game plan to target him. He'll either get a PI or just get burned.

Also passes in the flat or directly behind the D line have killed Denver this year and is our weakness. Also have a hard time covering TE's. As I previously posted before the playoffs, I didn't really want to see Buffalo first.
You're right. As good as Surtain is, Moss has had a rough year. I don't watch a ton of Broncos but I'm pretty sure he led the league in PI penalties this year - right? I'm sure some of the calls might have been questionable, but in the times I did see him this season, he was having a hard time keeping up. Even the Bills WR group might be able to take advantage of him.

Yes I believe he did, and most were justified. Then towards the end of the season he started missing tackles. It's bad when you're in the stands and the game is coming down to the wire with the opposing teams qb needing to score and everyone saying exactly what they're going to do. Moss gets Moss'd

I will be attending a daddy-daughter dance with my daughter at 7 p.m. on Saturday. As soon as the flyer came home, I said to my wife "that's the NFL playoffs - why would they schedule this then?" And of course, I get screwed.

Tale as old as time. The minute you get something like that the one game you really wanna watch will fall in that time window, absolutely never fails. You could have bet your mortgage on it.
