Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

Tale as old as time. The minute you get something like that the one game you really wanna watch will fall in that time window, absolutely never fails. You could have bet your mortgage on it.

I should have! Looking forward to slamming my phone on the ground in front of a bunch of elementary school kids at about 7:15 p.m.

Hypothetical - Teams had equal amount of rest. Neutral field. Not at mile high elevation. Bills would be favored by about 7 points. Maybe 8.

No way man, that's the difference between an elite & average team in the nfl usually.
3.5 maybe. 2 for homefield. Rest is maybe like a half point (if you can separate it from the injuries).
I do think our injuries are not baked into the current line as much as they probably should be. PK (which it effectively is with -120 juice on a +1.5 dog) is probably a fair line if JA is all good but if he's not, idk.

IMHO, winning in Denver is going to be way harder than the average Bills fan is treating this game.

Short week. Davis out. Poyer out. Josh is banged up. Cross-country trip. Mile high thin air. I would have Broncos -3.5. I never understood the opening line of Buffalo -1.5.

Denver not looking good in their last few games, Nix has been playing with happy feet and missing open wrs. Defense not looking great in that same span

Likely by Fri or Sat the line will have flipped to Den -1 or -1.5. Game will present significant problems for Buffalo, most non twitter fans get this. Buffalo is getting the Josh Allen bump on the line which is why they are a very slight favorite. Also as noted Nix has really struggled the last few games.

This is a very on point description. Our best kept secret, and locals always say not to tell outsiders about our winter weather. We get some of the most sun of anywhere that gets winter. Also most snow if it's 4-5" or less will melt the same day it falls, and streets actually dry in the evening, because of the sun. Last Friday an example of that.

That 40 degree forecast with sun and no wind will feel like low 50's easily
I’ve always wanted to live there. And I work from home . I could live anywhere . But alas for some reason my wife wants to be close to her family . Like really ?

Pretty much what I was saying earlier. All being equal we probably win. But the spot is absolutely horrible. Only San Fran has a spot nearly as bad and even they don’t have to change time zones or elevation for their game. This would be the most impressive win of Allen’s entire career if you ask me. I think there’s actually a decent chance we get boat raced, and I wouldn’t think less of the team.

Shavers ACL too??

Yup Shavers ACL, huge loss for his blocking and ST ability. Wonder if they will try and bring someone in now at WR or just roll with Hardman and you would Assume Samuel will be activated as well.

Buffalo has to be on a 3 or 4 year run of losing multiple guys to injuries in the playoffs, just uncanny how often it happens to them.

Now have Palmer, Davis and Shavers out for the year.

Poyer, Hairston, Ty and Prater out today for practice.

Hamlin full and will surely be activated

Bernard limited but looks like he may play to.

Need Ty Johnson to practice tomm, we need him for Sat.

With Davis and Shavers out, that leaves, Coleman, Shakir, and Cooks? Who is next?

Samuels and Mecole Hardman

ALso could see Buffalo bringing in Trent Sherfield whose available. Good blocking and STs guy ala Shavers. I suspect they will.

Samuels would be good. Hardman stinks. He’s a poor man’s Shakir who can return kicks.

Wow the Bills opened -1.5 at Denver. I have to imagine the overall #1 seed in a conference being a home dog in the divisional round is pretty unusual.

Per Yahoo

2018: ATL vs PHI, Eagles won as home underdogs
1971: DAL vs MIN, Cowboys won as road favorites

With the game on Saturday can't see them signing an outside guy now, it's too late. Samuel will surely be activated and I assume Hardman will be elevated for the game.
Wasn't Deonte Harty a late preseason cut by the Bills?

Eagles game line flipped because Carson was hurt and Foles had to play. Eagles still won though.
Because Pederson didn't "take the points" on 4th&Goal in the 1st half. Funny how Cowher/Dungy, et al never mention that.
