Buffalo Bills 2026 Thread

Kind of a boom or bust player. At least he’s a threat that opposing D coordinators will have to account for as opposed to our current lot of grunts.

I’m curious as to the Bears motivation here. They’ve got a young QB coming into his own and they want out on one of his big weapons? That seems like a red flag to me
They have Odunze, Burden, and Loveland. This makes plenty of sense for them.

The money they have to guarantee Moore vs the money owed to a 2nd round pick have to be accounted for though in determining overall value

They had to agree to guarantee additional money in order to get Moore on board for a restructure this year which is why I believe they did the guarantee for the 28 season for 15 mill. It's not a terrible contract but certainly a lot more then a Wr in year 2

Obvious improvement to the room. I’d still love to get Pierce..
Pierce is the top FA WR available and going to end up getting something mental like 4/110 with $50m guaranteed. So that's not happening and glad it's not.

Slight overpay. Joe B mock offseason article from earlier this week had almost this exact deal. Had him giving up a 3 and a 6 this year for Moore. That's almost the exact same value as giving up 60 and getting a 5th back. Fine with me. Hoping he has 2 good years left as a field stretcher.

Same people that complain that Beane is terrible at drafting are now whining about this. AJ Brown is likely not getting traded due to cap ramifications so everyone wants to pretend this is Madden and that Justin Jefferson is available or some other nonsense. Beane went out and got a guy that we saw making game winning plays in crucial late season games just 2-3 months ago instead of hoping that one of these 2nd/3rd tier WRs in the draft would become a dude in 2028 when it's probably less than a 50% chance of hitting on a WR in the late 1st and more like a 1 in 3 shot in the late 2nd.

Dang WGR dude Schop crushing this deal
They were complaining about the Parayko deal yesterday too. Bulldog is such a complete moron that he referred to Parayko as a 3rd pairing Dman. Dude was on team Canada last weekend. I moved away from Buffalo in 2013 and they were the worst back then too.

Cowherd was saying what a great deal it was for Buffalo . He didn’t know the cost. He said it would probably cost a 4th😆

My hope was that it was what Joe B had guessed a 3 and 6. Depending what trade chart you look at, it ended up at almost that same pick value but just seeing a 2nd does sting a bit given it's one of our few prime off-season assets. Trade back a couple spots in the 1st to add a 4, move that 4 and the Bears 5 and you're back into the 3rd if necessary. I'm just happy to have a dude we've seen do it rather than a prayer that Boston in the 1st can actually separate or the same with Fields in the 2nd.

The Bills now have the second largest cap hit in the NFL at WR. Interesting. I’m not a big Moore guy. He’s not a separator. Hope it works.

It's a bit misleading, it will drop a few spots once Samuel is cut shortly but will still be #4. I think they need to add another young guy and honestly I'd look at re-signing Cooks as well.

Depending on who wants to move up they might be able to add even better then a 4th, believe they get a third from the Chiefs on the last trade back. Could then use a third plus that extra 5th to get into the 2nd rounder back, albeit toward the back end.

Apparently he’s another Diggs in that if he isn’t being fed a lot of targets , he mentally checks out

But he fills the most important criteria for this front office . He was a Carolina Panther
