Buffalo

That sounds like youth football using a running clock when a team is up by 20 or more. Are you kidding me?!
There needs to be an uproar over this today. It was unbelievable when it happened. To actually be quoted saying "it was clearly a fumble and buffalo's ball but at that point in the game there was no competitive advantage" is completely out of line

SU has nothing to gain, why even acknowledge that buffalo even plays in NY.
Easy win, could get another 2- or 3-for-1. Appeases WNY fans when they play out there. Maybe they can get it played at Ralph Wilson a Saturday before the Bills have an away game. Would rather kick the piss out of Buffalo in NYS than go to CMU.

What if it was true? Game was way out of hand. There was 0 chance Buffalo was going to come back at that moment in time, if not earlier.

I love watching Art Briles offense. It's so simple, but so efficient. All you see is them pounding the ball downfield through the air, and straight ahead on the ground. None of this sidelines to sidelines stuff.

No bubble screens!

What? Of course it was true, but slippery slope, you can't have officials arbitrarily deciding when to enforce replay on a TURNOVER. WOW

What about the player that made the play for buffalo? It's worth nothing because the game was out of hand? That review would have taken 30 seconds. Terrible inarguable precedent

You don't know it would have taken 30 seconds. In the minds if the refs, the call on the field was good and not worth reviewing. Especially since the game was out of hand. The refs were doing Buffalo a favor by letting the game clock run. The game was beyond embarrassing.

You must not have seen the play. Easiest overturn in history of replay. 30 seconds. Maybe 32 seconds. It's just not a good precedent that's all I'm saying. What if baylor was up 21? Should they review? Arbitrary and wrong

Thank god I was to drunk to make it through the first half.

Not to mention the gambling ramifications

Baylor was up way more than 21 so any review was absolutely moot. News flash - the refs use discretion.

That said, take the last world and let's let this thread be.

Cuse won!!!

It's been that way forever. I was in grad school there in the late 60s. Used to stop by the stadium on an occasional Saturday game day. It was like attending practice. 500 spectators maybe. No interest on campus whatsoever.

That Licata kid from Buffalo that we passed on was basically leading the country in a few passing stats after 2 games from a stat line on S,U ATHLETICS SITE

I'm going to call BS on that. Let's see would you do again Central Michigan.

UB isn't Syracuse, but Syracuse would not be able to hang with Baylor. No shot. Sorry.

Attendance rates have gone up tremendously in the past two years and students have been out in force this year. The tailgating scene has actually been pretty b.a as well.
