bunch of bad games tonight

who cares about the first half if these games arent even within a few possessions for the important part of the second half. im not dogging you but tonights games were pretty meh, unless oregon blows it which could happen.

The games were meh, but the Chalk / Favoured Teams all made huge statements tonight. Hopefully it sets up entertaining games on Saturday.

I definitely underestimated Oregon. That is a really good team.

Me too. I actually had Oregon winning that game, which surprises me. I thought I had picked Duke. But Oregon was much more impressive than I expected.

Oregon is good and I happen to LOVE ducks, but I hated some of the preening and muscle flexing that went on. I think screaming, yelling, chest bumping, chest thumping is fine, but admiring your own bicep left me cold.

That was just a bad matchup for duke. I think oklahoma beats them.

K felt the need to say something to Brooks after the game about showing off. Apparently, he (Brooks) agreed.

such BS. he took a shot from waaay down town to avoid the shot clock violation. he hit it. they're about to win a huge game.and it was some icing on the cake. for a split second he gets amped up and...while turned AWAY from the opposition (so as to not show them up) he reacts.

BIG DEAL. freaking enjoy the moment. too much restraint on natural emotion is equally as bad as the fake planned out celebratory antics.

It's always a bad game when you're dumb enough to pick Maryland to upset a 1. Damn, that was brutal.

Maryland didn't care Frank Mason hit a layup with no one around at the game of the Kansas-Maryland game. By how Nantz joked that Paul Hornung may have cared about that layup. I thought that layup may have effected the point spread or O/U . I never looked though.
The ref looked at the replay for like 5 minutes.

Much ado about nothing. I suspect he's celebrating the win more than the shot and Duke needs to put on its big boy pants and take the loss like everyone else would. Why do we want to take the emotion out of college sports?
