So, I'm watching a random game tonight, and the announcer is talking about how one team is using intentional fouls to put the other team on the line.
The second announcer says, "the answer to that is to make your foul shots."
First announcer: " But unfortunately, they are only making 70% as a team from the line ..."
And I think to myself "70% as a team - that doesn't sound too bad to me ..."
And then the announcer continues, "That 70% puts them outside of the top 200 in all of college basketball"
OUCH
We are so accustomed to terrible foul shooting that "merely bad" seems like a big improvement! LOL
