13How many scholarships do they have?
13How many scholarships do they have?
I think the average number of basketball scholarships per team are 13, Kentucky is permitted to field 24 but carry 48.How many scholarships do they have?
So, Anselem is an "if all else fails" contingency for Calipari... Nice. Nice 'luxury' for Kentucky to have. Kinda sucky for Frank to be a 'break glass in case of emergency' player. I think he'd be a tad bit more valued here... Just sayin'.

as many as they need or can useHow many scholarships do they have?
Nailed itCal will move onto Sarr
I bet his handler and his mom are the same person......
That's gross.I bet his handler and his mom are the same person...
sick mind!!!That's gross.
I think they have one spot to fill right now. Its between Williams and anselem. Not sure which one is the higher priority. I would think Williams but who knows. So this guy is going to wait around to see if Kentucky has a spot for him?
Unless VC has it wrong, Kentucky has 2 open scholarships left for 2020. They have six freshmen commitments and 3 incoming transfers (Toppin, Sarr, Minitiz) coming in. They have returning scholarship players (PG Ashlton Hagans, SG Dontae Allen and SF Keion Brooks). They also have several redshirt walk-in players that are 2*. What a way to run a team and plan for the future (guess there is no need to just play each year like there is no future.)SH I think has 1 scholarship left. If this kid picks them then that's one less in the frank picture...however I think hes already down to 2 schools from the sounds of it anyways. And one of them is UK.
You have to have people who know what is what in the game. We work with a guy who knows what is what in the college soccer world. With my son transferring this year, he has been able to reach out to coaches he knows to help him find a landing spot. Is he a handler? IDK. Is he helpful? Absolutely. We have phone calls with Pitt and Marshall coaches coming up. My son is not a highly sought after, nationally known recruit, and it is for soccer. I can't imagine dealing with this as a parent or teenager when suitors are pounding at the door.“Handlers”...a “players camp”...aspects of recruiting that I will never understand completely and yet every time I see it referenced I just smh...don’t hate the players, hate “the game”...
I prefer to think of it as juvenile.sick mind!!!

So the difference is who pays the person and how they receive the money, because only Cusesky8214 would do any of that for free...What you described is not a handler. A handler is someone who has control of the entire recruiting process and will steer a kid to the school of their choosing for their own reasons. You described a recruiting specialist. There are services on Twitter that openly advertise. I'm sure it's not cheap but if it gets a kids tape into the right hands, it's a worthwhile investment.

Handlers are Agents in a free market.
