Just to add to the above, the issue wasn't on JBA's part, or Syracuse's, it was Italian immigration since he comes from a country that is on a high alert [Sudan] for terrorism. Italy wouldn't let him in, in other words.

JBA has had a pretty good summer, by all accounts. I wouldn't expect a ton this year, but he has the look of a potential multi-year starter. He's better than a portion of our fanbase expected him to be.

I wasn't sure if the problem was with Italian emigration or US immigration. I guessed the latter.

He should be a solid player and hopefully Sid will show him the ropes. It would be wonderful if he had fast enough feet to play the 4 at times but as we've seen in the past Jim needs 2 centers at all times due to Foul problems so whoever develops first between him and the Amsterdam lad will be Sids back up along with of course MD. Lots of plug and play/feather in here other than maybe having some gurth at 5.
