You are right that there are a fair number of people like me, that aren't particularly high on Majak yet demonstrate more optimism (about his potential to eventually develop and get strong enough to contribute) than I do. Whether that is true optimism or fear of the backlash that one receives for posting what many perceive as negative, I don't know. Fair question... I hope I answered it as honestly as I could.
I love JB and Syracuse, and that doesn't change because I don't like one or two guys JB and the staff are pursuing.
That said, I hope I am 100% wrong about Majak especially since I'm predicting he'll eventually be suiting up in Orange. In fact I hope he becomes the next Olajuwon for that matter because that's what's best for Syracuse (if he comes). I gain nothing if I'm right and he's a bust. But I don't post for popularity, never have and never will. If Majak comes to Syracuse, I'll probably voice a high level of skepticism. BUT, I will root for him and pray for his development because I'm a fan and I care about this team. Until he officially gets offered and signs, however, my STRONG preference is that we look elsewhere.
