Guess his offer wasn't strong ass enough.Did Wade run out of money?![]()
Are we out of scholarships? We just filled that spot with the last guy. I don't see it.
Diawara hasn’t been officially announced and this kid is in a different stratosphere. Probably won’t happen but maybe SU will pursue him.We just filled that spot with the last guy. I don't see it.
With the House settlement approved, I believe that scholarships will go up to 15 in men's basketball. We just filled that spot with the last guy. I don't see it.
Would love to see it! Hopefully WE can make him a strong ass offer.Diawara hasn’t been officially announced and this kid is in a different stratosphere. Probably won’t happen but maybe SU will pursue him.
If he’s interested in us and we don’t figure out how to get him, we will never join the ranks of the top teams. All of the usual top teams are stacked and would find a way to get a top player they are interested in, or just to keep him away from competitors (see how Jordan Tucker’s career was derailed before it started by Duke snagging him not because of need, but to prevent him from playing for us).We just filled that spot with the last guy. We aren’t rescinding an offer to Souare or likely anyone. It virtually never happens because it’s horrible optics and AAU coaches/handlers take notice. Not to mention Souare is here to help get George. There should be a scholarship available, but if not, just make one available. You could take a scholly away from one of the guys being redshirted and get creative with financial aid for the kid. Worse case and cutthroat scenario, if Souare hasn’t signed yet, you rescind the offer. To simply say we are out of scholarships is a losing team mentality.
I hear the kid is a genius, time for a full ride academic scholly. "Rules are meant to be broken"We aren’t rescinding an offer to Souare or likely anyone. There’s 15 scholarships now with the house settlement anyway. This discussion is ludicrous.I hear the kid is a genius, time for a full ride academic scholly. "Rules are meant to be broken"
Did someone call for Ludacris? There’s 15 scholarships now with the house settlement anyway. This discussion is ludicrous.

The guy on the right is an SU grad.
Read again - I stated that the simplest way to offer would be with a scholarship that we do have. I was also stating that if there wasn’t one available, you could get creative and pull a scholarship from a redshirted kid and replace it with a financial aid package. Obviously, the most cruel scenario would be to rescind an offer from Souare or another big. Many programs have done horrible things and spun a narrative to favor the school and put the blame on the athlete. Not saying that we should do something that extreme, but saying we need to find a way or live with not being able to compete. Some of you are way too sensitive off season, but show your teeth during the pitiful season. We aren’t rescinding an offer to Souare or likely anyone. Or, offer enough NIL that he doesn’t need a scholarship. That said, we may have 15, with the settlement.Read again - I stated that the simplest way to offer would be with a scholarship that we do have. Name a school that’s pulled scholarships in basketball. It doesn’t happen often.Read again - I stated that the simplest way to offer would be with a scholarship that we do have.
