I agree. Most likely won’t play much, but if we have a run of bad luck at the center and big forward positions, we’ll be very glad we have him.

As others have noted he's a project. I'd be more excited if it wasn't the portal era and we could hold onto him and develop his game. One other note, Diawara is AAU teammates with Vaughn Karvala.

‘We’re at 12 guys right now. I think it’s a good bet that lucky #13 will be a big dude but I doubt we’ll have any idea who the guy is. Guessing an overseas big that hasn’t played much. I also doubt he’ll be able to dribble or shoot.’

Hopefully, his 5 fouls will be spread across playing time in 2-3 quarters and not the same quarter within 3 minutes or less,like we have seen our recent backup centers.

So was Petar. We still needed - and got - some decent minutes from him last year. Guys do get hurt, and he is now physically the biggest guy on the roster. A very good late pick up.
