Per espn. Just popped up on my phone, looking for an article now.

D 3 job in West Hartford. No D-1 school would hire a 75 year old man head their program. You can be old at a job but not start out old. Coach Mac could have stayed here for years but we wouldn't have hired him at 70

I would think UConn would take him back. They might be getting desperate after one tournament win in three years.

Hell if it wasn't for a Amida Brimah free throw in 2014 vs St Joes Ollie wouldn't have a job there anymore.

I said at the time that BC should have hired him.
Perfect coach for the region, school, etc. I still think they should bring him in.

You are kidding right? What AD would bring a 75 year old man in to begin his coaching career at that school? Not too mention one with previous health issues. Didn't he step down from UCONN because of health issues?

He could be an associate coach, going to practices and games, giving his 2 cents but not having the whole volume of things a head coach has to do.
