I've heard this a few times but is it actually true that they passed out mouthguards to ppl sitting courtside at the Dome during his playing days as a joke because he was always diving into the stands? There's something to be said about tradition. SU basketball has a great history and tradition.

As far as I'm concerned Hop is an important part of that tradition. Messing up his ascendancy to the head coaching job leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

Not the same to get some mercenary to replace JB.
