Did Pitino ever console Ware? He seemed more concerned with the guys who were still playing. Maybe he was trying to calm them down or maybe he was acting like it was a time out, I have no idea. I just remember Bob Huggins holding Da'Sean Butler (also against Duke, oddly enough) and how that forever changed my opinion of the guy.
It looked like Pitino didn't realize it at first, the bench obviously saw it, but Pitino didn't react. CBS then showed Thornton, who definitely saw it, based on his reaction, then by the time they went back to Ware, the training staff was there and Pitino was on the court.Did Pitino ever console Ware? Hard to compare to the Butler situation, if what happened to Ware ahppened to Butler, there is no way Huggins hugs him like that. UofL players were passing out and throwing up, I can't blame Pitino for not being there right away, you HAD to left the medical staff do their thing first.
Give me a break. Some people just live to tear others down. Give it up dude.
Im struggling to see where else you are going with this then. It's ridiculous.
Not saying Pitino had to hug him, but he could have at least knelt down and said something.
I'm not trying to tear anybody down. Chill out.
Yes. You did. Stop.
Really? Show me where I said something - anything - disparaging about Pitino. I found his behavior odd, but it's not like I'm sitting here calling him a slimeball for it. You guys are overreacting.

The thing is, there was nothing odd about how he reacted. Were you on the court with him? Did you see things from his perspective? How is he supposed to act? It's too bad Pitino couldn't have acted, in the aftermath of such a tremendous injury, in a way that would satisfy the unwritten rules that King Otis finds acceptable.
i agree. ridiculous response by some people to try and judge pitino on how he responded.
The irony is that I'm not the one judging.
Odd doesn't have to be a negative. You guys are responding to what you think I meant, not what I actually said.
Anyway:

That's all I was looking for.
That was Hancock, I always thought he was a bish; but man, everyone else on their bench couldn't even look and he jumped up and got on the ground to console Ware, unbelievable reaction by him.
