we have shown we can compete with the big boys
we have shown we can out score the lesser teams
we have shown we can get into rock fights with the power teams

when can we get the offense to score in these tough games..

VT/FSU/Miami/Lsu/CLemson/NCst/FSU/Clem the last 3 yrs we only got to 30 1 time and 30 would have won all but one of these.

first key, get the ball into the endzone early. fsu/clemson could have both been 14-0 leads settled for 6-0 and FSU was a dog fight for a long time. Clemson took the lead but we got it back

I think we are showing an uptick of play makers on offense. need that guy on the D.

Babers has done very well in the transfer market. This needs to continue until he can start landing 4-Star talent out of high school.

Yep... an upset yesterday would have been awesome but most important right now is taking care of business by beating the likes of Pitt, UNC, etc.

I think we are missing that stud LB on defense, but on offense check this out. Next year we will have two 4 stars WR's in Jackson and Hendrix, 4 star RB in Adams and 4 star QB in Devito. Plus if we can somehow land 4 star Na'Quan Wright at RB and 5star Auburn transfer Meyers-Craig to go along all our other weapons we could have a potentially dynamic offense (or at least from a recruiting standpoint).

To take the next step, we have to win at Pitt, handle the bye, and take care of business v UNC

It's precisely the next step. 4 wins has been the stall point, even though we got there earlier this year.

6-1 SU vs 6-1 or 7-0 NC State... Win that and we've taken two steps this year.

Pitt/wake/Lou/UNC are the games you have to win to keep going foward at worst win 3. Pitt next week really creates energy around the next home game and 2 weeks to build on it.
