All i need is a few shows from netflix and I'm paying for 10 billion movies and showsAll I need is ESPN lineup of channels (and only during college football/basketball season), TBS, TNT, FXX and TVLand. I rarely watch any other channel. Yet, here I am paying for almost 200 channels!

all i need is the front page and the opinion page and I'm paying for classified and local entertainment
all i need is a squat rack, a bench and some plates and I'm paying for stair climbers and yoga blocks
bundles exist all over the place for good reasons but people have it in their head that they can unbundle cable and save a lot of money
The big thing that boosts everyone's bills seems to be data. Check Tracfone. They have a yearly plan that works out to like $15 a month if you stay within their limits. I don't use cell-based data very often (I'll use wiFi whenever possible) and I really don't make or receive that many calls and texts, so it would easily work for me. At the very least, make sure your phone is switching off the provider's cell system and onto to your home's WiFi so you're using it there.i think the value of cable while costly is great.. its the crazy cost of cell phones that bothers me.. $300 a month for something i have to have and use maybe 20 min a month. people watch 2-3 hrs a tv a day and complain about $100-200 a month 7x3x4 its like $1-2 an hr pretty cheap.. on top of stream those same shows over and over
I'm coming late to the party but here are two positive articles. Look at the end of David Teel's nice article in "Daily Press" (Va.) to view relative competitiveness:
One year before launch, ACC Network's challenges clear
and also this one from "Sports Business Journal" about the front end investment which will make the ACC Network launch in 2019 a much higher quality affair than the SEC Network launch in 2014:
Lights. Camera. ACCtion!
Each of them is worth reading - highly recommended!
"Yes, partial ACC member Notre Dame will receive a full network share, as the Fighting Irish should. Their men’s basketball and Olympic programs, plus their five annual football games against ACC colleagues, are that valuable."
Really?
That story is a lot to do about nothing. That will be a legal battle that will last many years and NY State cannot win that battle in court. Is Spectrum was getting kicked out of NY? How does that work or happen and what are the options for Spectrum users?
A lot of info in this thread already, thank you.

I could easily be wrong, but I believe the ACCN fees that are being discussed here are completely separate from the football TV rights fees. If that is so, then they do have teams in the sports that determine ACCN fees and deserve a full share. AMOF, they have more teams participating in the ACC than some of the full members do. I know UVa hasn't played FSU in MLax or WLax. Has SU?Tend to agree, prorate it. Especially since i am sure some of those 5 acc games are at home, which are televised by nbc, which means not contributing to acc network revenues
