Not necessarily related to that. This happens every year. They have to make room for upgrades for kids that SEC and other power programs recruit late/flip from “lesser schools”.

I’m not sure if the other sites pull this but rivals is know for it. Lazy homerism catering to the more profitable Rivals sites.
