Don't like "at large" because of the human element, and include the G5 teams because I'd really like to see the match ups.

I too would like to see a few G5 teams step up. Given that UCF finished 12 in the rankings this season while going undefeated, I do not see a possible route to the CFP for any G5 teams in the 4-team format.

I understand what you mean about the human element related to the "at large" spots. To that though, if you're talking about filling spots 6-8, I feel like it's somewhat neutralized. The teams that finish in the 8-10 slots likely don't belong anyway. Again, just my opinion, but I do understand what you mean.
